you can use same ssid, but i would recommend to configure it as a mesh system so you only have to manage one management console to manage all the nodes..

honestly, they work great, and very minimalistic design, for mesh i would not really recommend wireless backhaul, for speed is usually cut in half, but if you are using wired backhaul, this is a great product..

Hi, yes can configure each device as an individual router. for both have their own wan port..

comparing 1 node of the xd4s from the rt-ax1800hp, the rt-ax1800hp wins.. then if you want additional coverage get another ax1800hp to create mesh network.. or better get the rt-ax53u or rt-ax52..

@@JKChavez i see. I currently have a tuf ax6000. Im looking to mesh it. Have you reviewed any of the asus new repeater? Asus RP58ax?

@@jomariquizon7886 I have not tried their repeaters yet for it is not available here in the Philippines, the ax6000 is a much more powerful router, if I were you, I would get the cheapest one available, like the ax53u or ax52 to create mesh..

Yes sir, actually d pa sya officially released dito pero alam ko incoming na sya this month or June, if you check the video sir parang mas okay pa din si original XD4 over XD4S..

@@JKChavez I have used the lan cable from the main AI mesh, but the other AI mesh is still unreadable.

@@dedipurnomo7830 can you try a force reset then try it again, and for the mesh node, how many lan ports are available?
