This is probably the best demo on this guitar I've seen!!! Love the way the body tapping comes through on one of those settings, that would be a selling point for me because of my flamenco style I play, plus, you can get an overdriven Fender sound when needed!!! I love the way this sounds, the way it looks like it plays. You mentioned about electric players that don't like acoustic might like this, what about acoustic players that tend to shy away from electrics? I've been a predominantly acoustic player my whole life, even after trying electrics I always go back to acoustic. Oh my..... I just bought the Stratocaster version..... Love this new one, but can’t justify it just yet. Need to get back out gigging after the “COVID” layoff. With the the Acoustosonic, I am able to change all my arrangements for songs and with the Aeros Looper and Beatbuddy, I am re-arranging most of my songs (400 song repertoire) and that takes a little time. Maybe I can get one of these later. Loved your song.

I am an off set guitar lover. A couple years ago I borrowed my daughter's Squier Jagmaster and haven't let go of it since. It's an offset body like the Jazzmaster with a floating trem like a Strat. Built in 2011 it's my go to guitar. Love this video Mary. Maybe one day I'll treat myself and get one in turquoise.

I just ordered mine. I got the Tungsten color because I already have a fender Redondo Classic acoustic that’s the ocean turquoise. Last month I was able to acquire an old Jazzmaster bass. Now I’m flush with American Fenders. I fell in love with all the sounds it makes.

I agree with your take on this instrument . I am so pleased that they did a jazz master version of this sublime instrument. I would love to see it with a tremolo bar, I just picked one up today in arctic white. The dynamic response and range is amazing! That Acoustasonic Jazzmaster in blue looks good on you ! It sounds great in your hands also. I have been playing the Telecaster version since they came out and I find it very versatile. Now if you are a purist and only a fine Martin or Taylor will satisfy you then this is not for you. However if you need a great sounding acoustic for recording or a gig then you will find this to be fun and easy to play on a familiar format. I recommend them as a good grab and go acoustic.

I'm not surprised that Mary is the first person to actually have read the manual and demonstrate the different voicings of the acoustasonic. Kind of telling that none of the guy KZbinrs did it :) I love this body shape way more than the previous versions and I'm not a Jag fan typically at all. The different voicings offer up the opportunity to write/play with an acoustic song where you can shift voicings mid-song for chorus/solo etc as some people do with an electric solid-body. Or just sound closer to your favorite song if it was recorded with a dreadnaught and you've only parlor guitar. Are you doing anything more with the Zach Myers? I love that thing and am really aiming to get one this year for my significant birthday. Just need to convince the family a bit more and you are excellent evidence.

The range of pickup selection and sound is impressive. I might never be able to embrace the general style of the Acoustasonic for the wood and color schemes they have, but the guitar otherwise seems like a pretty cool mix of sound and style and I agree the Jazzmaster body shape is the most appealing of the models so far.
