It’s not the size difference. There is huge mechanical differences. LC200 has beefy mechanical components and crazy heavy. 250 is like GX

@samirchpk1 the 200 is a "wagon" lc the 250 is a "light duty" lc. The heavy duty is not sold in America so I'd rather get the light duty not the wagon

The 2024 250 fuel is 93 octane while I believe you can use 87 octane in the old one correct?

Obviously you don't spend a lot of time on the trails. Besides, you can get off road insurance in some places. I can tackle any trail in mine, and be covered.

As a former 200 series owner, I would go with the 200 all day. In addition to it being more premium on the inside, everything on it is beefier and overbuilt (drivetrain, steering, suspension, etc.). They are different classes of vehicles. A more fair comparison would be the 200 series verses a new LX.

The 200 series owners are losing their minds over this 250. “Not a real Land Cruiser.” Lol, tell Toyota that. As a former 200 owner, and as someone who wheels a lot, the 200 is horribly compromised. It’s not actually very good at anything. The 250 has what people said they wanted.

The only thing about the 200 series it looks like a moms soccer car, I like the 250 looks wise, we will see about motor, but if my wife wanted the 200 no brainer but for me would be the 250

"Able to get" 22 MPG on the 250 is different than "Averaging" 16 MPG on the 200. I have a 250 and am Averaging 19 MPG. No way you'd be averaging 22 MPG on the 250 unless that's all highway driving.
