About This Release:
​This is the aptly-named follow-up to our 2016 live-in-studio record The Nashville Session. Same set-up as before: during a mid-tour pit-stop the four of us ducked back into Welcome To 1979, a gorgeous vintage analogue studio in (wait for it...) Nashville, to perform a straight-to-tape live set in front of a small but enthusiastic audience. On the original album our keysman Joe Tatton was limited to Hammond organ only, so for this session we decided to furnish him instead with a load of vintage pianos and an analogue synthesizer, and we picked a set of tunes accordingly. They are mainly existing NMS studio tracks whose arrangements have evolved organically in the years since they were originally recorded. We even included two tunes from our most recent studio album, Renewable Energy, as we have had such fun developing them in the live set over the past 12 months.
