A weird misconception I've been seeing around town that I'd like to correct... Yes, this is made with REAL African Black Soap and is not just a "marketing scheme" c'mon now people... African Black Soap is made a plethora of different ways depending on the location in which it's created. Some have more, some have less ingredients. I tried it and I love ❤️ it. I don’t get some of this reviews, they kept saying it’s drying and makes your hair squeaky clean, I don’t get, what’s the point of a conditioner, deep conditioner and leave in conditioner if they expect the shampoo to act like a conditioner 😒.

People fail to realize that shampoo is meant to CLEANSE and isn't necessarily meant for moisturizing especially when ABS. But this shampoo doesn't strip my hair - keep in mind my hair is high density, high porosity, and not too mention that I always apply too much shampoo since I'm heavy handed. This didn't dry out my hair at all!

I used this shampoo 7 days ago. I followed up with a random deep condish and then the Leave In (I let it sit for about 15 mins under a cap..shout out to Faye In The City) and then styled with the Cream + Oil. I watch Royalty Soaps, a soap maker. Her ingredients will never say "soap" as that's ridiculous. Soap has to be made from other items, and those ingredients need to be spelled out. And as Whitney said, you can mix and match a few items, different extracts, and still create black soap. In fact, I have a box of "Ultra Glow African Black Soap" right in front of me, which I got from Walmart. Here's the ingredient list to pass on if anyone wants to know just why her product doesn't say "black soap": Sodium Tallowate, water, sodium cocoate, glycerin, parfum (fragrance), aloe barbadensis (aloe) leaf juice powder, avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, calendula officinalis (marigold) flower extract, cola nitida (kola nut) seed extract, tocopheryl acetate, sodium chloride, pentasodium pentetate, CL 77499 (black iron oxide). Not all black soaps are made with these specific ingredients so just saying "black soap" is way too vague. What if that soap contains an ingredient someone is allergic to? That's a lawsuit right there, so all ingredients need to be provided so the consumer can make an informed choice.

My Honest Review: So prior to using your African black soap shampoo, I was using the entire Head and Shoulders Royal Oils line. I chose the Royal Oils line because I have bad dandruff and sometimes my scalp is so itchy and scabby. But the royal oils line completely eliminated my scalp issues after just one use. I had used it for about 8 months with noooo build up, dandruff issues whatsoever. Well, you know I had to support my girl Whit and check out her new line and when the shampoo came out, I was more than excited and I happily switched to the African Black Soap Shampoo. I’ve been using Whit’s African black soap shampoo for about a month and a half now. I’ve done 3 washes every 2 weeks. My hair type is 4b. I can tell you that this shampoo completely strips my hair of all dirt. It literally feels raw and squeaky clean. But I apply a deep conditioner and the moisture is quickly restored so no problem there. But after my third wash with the African Black soap shampoo, I have to say that my scalp issues have returned, and with a vengeance! The entire front of my head is sooooo itchy, scabby, and full of dandruff. So I hate to say it, but I will be switching back to the Royal Oils shampoo to keep the dandruff and scalp issues in check. I will still use her cream styler, leave in and oil because I LOVE those! They help me achieve a BOMB twist out every 2 weeks. So I’m just putting this out there for anyone who is wondering and if you too have dandruff and heavy scalp issues. But your hair may not do like mine. I have the entire collection. I bought the shampoo as soon as it came out and LET ME TELL YOU. Whitney is right. The Leave in Conditioner works better WITH the shampoo. My hair was the softest it’s ever been after using the shampoo and leave in conditioner. I also have very low porosity hair and products take time to enter my hair shaft. My hair also takes forever to dry. Using this entire line has changed me hair for the better. The leave in conditioner and the styling cream melted right into my hair 😭 and my hair dried quicker than it ever has. I’ve been using the first launch of products since April and my hair loves it. I can personally say that using your African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo along with your Multi-Use Softening Leave in conditioner is the way to go. I used the Leave in conditioner for more than a year with other shampoos and loved it but when I paired it with your new Black Soap Shampoo it took the moisture, softness and shine of hair to new heights. Even when I moisturize mid week with just the Leave in conditioner and the Multi- Use Pure Oil blend, my hair still feels much softer and looks so shiny and lively. I’m a guy with 4c hair my hair is 30inches and here are some tips to grow your hair you sunflower oil a works great for 4c hair types in Jamaican and Haitian Castor oil Mix them up with aloe and garlic and Bayleaf celery’s Basil Maui moisture moisturizer and then you boil them together after that u blender the ingredients then you strain it and put it in a bottle.great video and I hope you try this out😚😊

I wish you had been able to release this video at the time of the shampoo launch, I think it would have stopped the misconceptions regarding the African Black Soap before they started🙄 I feel like people are so used to KZbinrs making and selling products from out of their kitchens (no shade, I make my shea butter in the kitchen!), that they aren't used to seeing one use a legit FDA compliant ingredient list that breaks down components properly in order for them to be on store shelves. Leaves, pods and ash aren't going to cut it, but they are probably what the charcoal is comprised of. Idk, this has just been an interesting debate and it shows me who I probably shouldn't watch anymore. I don't like when people continue to be loud and wrong despite being told the facts by numerous viewers.

All I need now is for you to have like a thicker deep conditioner (sorry but the current multiuse leave in doesnt do it for me, but I still use it as leave in), THEN, This company will be the ONLY company I use for my hair! You could probably use the twisting cream as a deep conditioner. The great thing about natural products is that they can be multi-use. I only own two hair products (not melanin) a light conditioner and a thicker one and I use them for EVERYTHING. Washing, deep conditioning, leaving-in, moisturizing and styling. I even use the thicker conditioner on my legs as a shaving cream.

When I tell you it has been actual years since I have felt that a shampoo has truly cleaned/ clarified my hair without stripping it? My goodness.
