I watched your review of the AGX lenses and I would like to know how these compare application wise to those. Which blocks more sunlight, which is better for driving and which is better for reducing glare and all around sunlight conditions. Thanks.

For polarized glass lenses, the VLT percentage is: AGX - 10% American Gray - 15% I prefer American Gray for every situation except bright, direct sunlight such as fishing on open water.

Hi, I bought 55mm and 58mm pairs of Randolph aviators for comparison but i can't figure out which ones fit best. They both look ok, there's very little in it but the legs of the 55mm bend outwards slightly when i'm wearing them. Does this mean they are too small for my face shape? I followed Randolph's sizing guidelines on their website and if i'm measuring temple to temple correctly then I should be about a 55mm (135mm temple to temple size). There is no leg bend on the 58. Any advice? :)

It's is normal to have a slight bend in the temple arms when wear the Aviator. But if it puts too much pressure on your temples then it won't be comfortable and it will slowly push off your face. It's a personal choice on what is the proper feel and fit. If it flexes too much, go with the larger size as long as it looks good on your face. You can also have the smaller frame adjusted at the bridge so it is not at tight -But this is a minor adjustment. Hope this helps, Steve "Arby", Flight Sunglasses

I have the AF068 Aviator Matte Black 55mm. A flashy blue reflection off the back side of the lens is quite distracting. Temple blades leave a groove on the tops both ears - painful. Right temple blade opens and closes normally. Left temple blade is extremely stiff - won't close all the way. These will be going back after 1 day of wearing. Reallly expensive junk!!

I have the AF058 Aviator 23K Gold 55mm - the blue reflective coating is invisible when wearing and prevents inner lens reflections beautifully like intended. Temple blades do not touch the ears - super comfortable. Left and right temples opens and close with perfect smoothness and proper tension - Not too easy not too hard. These will be staying with me until I lose or they are stolen. Really high quality shades that are EASILY worth the money when compared to shades that cost the same or even $100-$200 more.

@@BC08 I was using for bicycling. Lots off angle.viewing where the blue back coating would go off like a flashbulb. Though, I will say.... sitting behind a car windshield, they work quite well. I hope yours last a long, long time. It IS a premium product. Cheers
