I have been seeing these at the store and have been wondering about them. So far my favorite gel pen has been the .5 papermate inkjoy. They write a really clean line and dry super quick

Kevin C. Oh yeah. I really like those, too.

Very cool, I really wanna try these in 0.5 but they only come in dozen boxes in that size. i also really like the Signo 307 specifically, especially b/c overseas you can get it in 0.38 and 0.5 much easier than here and its so super permanent. I also dislike the G2 very much
@inkdependence4 жыл бұрын
Oh, I haven't seen the .5 307. Do they call it a 305? or a 328? Those pens are great, but that .7mm tip can be a little wide sometimes.

The Pilot Juice Up is my fave. It has a pointier point than the Pilot Juice or G2, not quite as pointy as the G-tec.

Oh, interesting. I don't know if I've used the Juice Up. It's a fun name, and I could probably get down with that level of pointy point.

Nice gel pen, construction can be improved a bit ..0.5 mm writes as good as energel or zebra
@inkdependence9 ай бұрын
I don't think I'd put it quite in that tier, but I do like them. Totally agree that the body could use some updating to match the quality of the refill.

They are excellent work pens.

Yep. No frills, but it gets the job done well.

I wonder if it’s ink is waterproof.... for use on checks or to address envelops (in case it rains on the postman)
@inkdependence4 жыл бұрын
It seems really waterproof to me. I just tried it be scribbling on a page, pouring water on it, and trying to wipe it off. Nothing came off, so that's good.

Idk if I got a terrible batch or what, but every single one in this 10 pack I bought has ended up getting stuck on me. After just a few days of use, the spring seems to get stuck somewhere inside the tip, not allowing the pen to depress to hide the tip when not in use. Total waste of money

Whoa. That's bad. I haven't had that happen, but that totally sucks.

I wonder how similar the ink is to the Inkjoy Gel pens. The same conglomerate owns both Paper Mate and Sharpie, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was just different barrels for the same refills. Of so, I'll just stick with the Inkjoys. I like the design better than the S Gel, which looks like just another G2 clone to me.
@inkdependence4 жыл бұрын
I think they might be different refills. I just compared them, and the Sharpie writes wetter and broader than the Inkjoy of the same tip size. Totally different model numbers on the refills, though they're the same dimensions. I do like the InkJoy body better than the S-Gel, though, I think.

They dry out!!!
@inkdependence9 ай бұрын
Huh. I don't think any of mine have, but I'll have to dig out the ones I haven't been using and check. Gel pens don't usually dry up all that quickly.

Nice pens but … not permanent … what’s the use. All you have to do is take a damp cloth and remove what you wrote down…
