I'm actually okay with the 3 o'clock date implementation here. It would probably look just a tiny bit better at 6 o'clock, but I don't think it makes much different. The green is nice, but I'd still have to go with the blue model.

Should have known your gripe would be the date window position! We all know you're a sucker for a 6 o'clock date window! Personally I think works better at the 3 o'clock on this piece. 4pm for a chrono, 6pm for a diver. 3pm for all else! Seriously considering picking one of these up as I'm loving green dials/bezels ATM (as is the whole industry!) and great video as always!

Just got one in NYC store. The green in the Quartz did not do it for me...and then this PRX Powermatic had this deep green, almost black dial. Very versatile and that led me to spend the extra for this model. I can wear it with black or grey, dark browns. i thought 36mm but the 40mm sat perfectly. My first Tissot. Great buying experience in the store.

Fabulous piece. True to Tissot's real place in history - I owned a 1939 and 1945 Tissot 6216 with column wheel Lemania CH 27 movement (very close to Omega 321 and Patek 5070) and screwdown caseback. Some of their pièces in history are very nice.

I bought the blue dial PRX nearly two months ago, unfortunately before the green came out. But the blue is beautiful. I noticed that even thought the indices are very thin, when I move my wrist the light catches them, giving a sparkle moving across the dial. Since I've had the PRX, I'm finding it hard to stick with my watch rotation!

Gotta say, I completely disagree about the date window. I think 3 is exactly where it belongs for this type of watch (and most watches in general). My biggest gripe with this model is the hands; I would have loved to see something sharper to match the angular vibe on this watch. The batons are so boring, and the only thing holding me back from clicking "Buy" right now.

❤❤❤i wore my prx in public yesterday-the coolest thing about this watch( attracted lots of attention )is that it has its own unique beauty !...doesnt look like a homage or a fake watch-i predict that these low prices of the prx line will skyrocket into the wonderful of vanity-and i am a proud owner of the quartz no worries excellance-a watch u can quickly grab and go out without the hassle of setting the time or adjusting-this watch will transform the efficiency of wearing an attractive lightweight thin timepiece !!
@shaagaknowsyou5295 Жыл бұрын
The downside is that it can attract the wrong type of attention as it may appear to some as an AP Royal Oak. The UK is not a safe place for wearing luxury watches on the out and about and that extends to watches that may have the appearance of more high end watches. It's a shame but food for thought for you to be weary and cover up with a cuff/sleeve in public.

Idk... He's okay with date placement on 3 o'clock in the video uploaded 4 months ago in previous PRX video but now he's wishing a date window at 6? Lol To be honest, date at 3 is in lieu with the inspiration it took, a watch from 70s era, and with a little stretch of the arm the date would be visible under the cuff rather than stretching the arm all the way so that the whole dial would be visible. Though I did wish the date disc only on blue dial is color matching, including the 18k bezel version blue or brown. It's matching in white dialed version while it's fine the way it is in black and green dial version due to the dark color scheme need something to "pop" it a little with contrasting element like the indices and the date window.

@visiblemode Жыл бұрын
It’s not exactly true. Yes the material used for these parts is a composite, plastic based material, it’s not considered by many watchmakers to necessarily be a poor choice for these parts. More of a “modern choice.” That said, while some innovative materials have made their way upstream at Swatch Group, I don’t think you’ll see this particular change anytime soon in their higher end movements. That being said, the movement is fully serviceable. People say it isn’t because when you return one to Swatch they just swap it. Not to say they don’t keep it and re-use the parts, but given it’s a lower end movement it’s cheaper and faster to shoot you out a new one. If this was a high end piece that service strategy would be massively wasteful.
