The Aussie Elcan Spectre with 1x/4x variable zoom would be fun, the 1x would be good for CQC but still not as good as normal holographics since there is still eye relief issue

Also works when bipoded. Look up and your character model will duck.

toggle freelook, turn turret up and slightly lift or right so you can watch front from little window. That's it now you can ride in safety, look around and popup when you actually need to engage. but this situation...well this what snipers are there for.

It would be so cool if they would take into account the random shift of point of impact specific to each gun to make things less predictable. A kill with a sniper rifle should feel rewarding.

Where is the bullet drop? Shooting 200-300 meters on dead center with rifle set to 100 meters. >.>

Bullet drop is present, but not arcadey like in COD and Battlefield (which you might be used to). Clearly had to zero to both 200 and 300 meters for various shots, multiple times. There were a few times I could’ve zeroed to 200 (targets somewhere around 150-175m prob) but bullet drop between 100 and 200 meters isn’t enough to make much of a difference when aiming center mass. It’s not like I’m several hundred meters away

@ConVict2 i didnt notice the the change in meters. Maybe its the fact that its a game and things just look closer because its flat. I shoot a lot of rifles and some of the head shots at range just felt too straight 🤷 thanks for letting me know

I think between the grids on the map and ability to use FTL markers, it’s enough to get a pretty good idea but yeah, rangefinders would be a cool addition for sure

ngl snipers in my book belong to the ones who provide cover and help on long range engagements they need good positions so you always should give him 1 supportive player so they can do a team of 2 sniper and spotter
