This is a new multi-item sorter designed by RedGrosso, I am doing a showcase so that people in the community can see this amazing design. It has a top speed of 3000 stacks per hour, but if too much of one item is put into the system, it gets restrained by hopper speed. It is lag efficient, compact, user friendly, reliable and has all the necessary edge case detection built in.

thats an interesting take on the sorting method! Looks relatively simple compared to other MIIS i found online, so good job on that. I must say it does not give me too much confidence on the reliability to unloaded chunks, server crashes etc so i don't think I'd build this in a multiplayer survival server but I liked the video a lot!

Oh yeah you would definitely need to build a chunk loader or just not leave while sorting is happening As for server crashes, I imagine all hopper minecart based designs would break too a little sadly but yeah I love the design too

Can you only put Shulkerboxes as input or single stacks of items too?

You can input everything! If you input a shulker it gets unloaded and sent to the same place in wich the normal items are picked up
