I think there needs to be a real focus on educating people. There is a huge effort to confuse people or keep them ignorant. I love the work u do lyla please keep it up. I hope there's better advertising that addresses lies and confusion.

I agree about the education, and that needs to be partnered with legislation to protect us while inside our mother's wombs. Especially when it comes to how unregulated the abortion pills are and how anybody can get them with zero medical reason.

@emilyk.5664 absolutely. It's amazing though how people in general don't know a thing about what's happening to the babies. I have two babies and even I didn't know until I took the time to investigate myself. There's definitely a deliberate force behind keeping people ignorant. Your right though. The fact that you can go anywhere and get the pill is unacceptable. I try to be selective about where I shop so my money can speak for me.

How about y'all listen to Russell from Abolitionists Rising. This incremental approach from the "pro-life" side stops abolitionist bills from getting through. For those that believe in the rights of the pre-born there should be no middle ground any more!

I don't see why we can't have unity. Unfortunately, there are "abolitionists" who would block better, more incremental legislation because it doesn't go far enough. That could leave the door open to some really bleak pro-abortion legislation. On the other hand a lot of legislators who call themselves "pro-life, don't care about the unborn and believe in all kinds of exceptions. I think abortion abolitionists and authentically pro-life Americans need to be a united front. Fractions will not make for fewer abortions.

We need a focus on legislation to protect us prenatally and to call out those who use euphemisms to deflect from the violence of abortion. Culturally, this false sense of control people have when it comes to reproduction needs to be addressed. Doing an inherently procreative act must be respected. Birth "control" is a false sense of control and is not an excuse to use abortion as a backup. Sex makes babies. Our babies deserve protection no matter the circumstances of their conception.

If we want to defeat abortion, we need millions of Catholics praying the Rosary for this intention...and weekly fast days as well. As Our Lady told St. Dominic, the Holy Rosary is "the battering ram" against evil. While political efforts and activism matter, remember this is a spiritual war. @ It is a meditative prayer in which you meditate on the life and death of Jesus and his Mother while praying Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be prayers, among others. There are lots of great Rosary pray along videos on KZbin and free rosary pray along recordings on the Hallow app.

I hope we really start to have this conversation for real in the pro-life movement. Be careful using this word “abolish,” it leads to some hard conversations. (Nothing changes until we change the laws to protect babies by punishing the parties responsible for the murder that is abortion.)

Unwanted pregnancy mainly. The risk is higher with young people not properly educated about their sexuality. Strangely, the rate of unwanted pregnancy is four times higher among Black women in the U.S. than among White women, even though they both ultimately want about the same number of children. This has to be addressed. I'm a European so I do not really know the underlying dynamics.

oh here`s an easy solution to make all people chill with abortions. simply balance out ALL the responsobilities related to reproduction,and have the law judge situations in 100% objective manner instead of what ``feels better``: 1)make abortion legal only if both parents don`t want the baby and no one else expresses desire to take responsoblity to become legally responsible to take care it who has means to do so... 2)if only one parent officially protests baby from being aborted then baby gets to live ,BUT also that same person by default becomes legally responsible for baby and for a parent that declared officially to abort baby becomes 100% optional to whatever it wants to help support that baby in any way or not... that way you would take out of picture all people who are popping out kids for monetary gain have stfu all narcs who who are just there to virtue signal alone and at the same time anyone who is legit pro life or who legit wants to rise kids would have all the power to prevent abortion directly and anyone who legit for whatever reason do not want to rise kids ,but sht happened to them cuzz it`s real life would have full freedom to walk away from situation... and it would make everyone take birth control way more seriously and it would make everyone choose their romantic partners much more seriosly too if that`s not a perfect solution for a problem at hand then i don`t know what is...
