I created this video to show that Nathan MacKinnon is the best player in the entire NHL right now. Right now he is favoured to win the MVP award and I predict he will finish with the most points in the NHL. I think he will get 140 points this season. MacKinnon is also the best most complete player in the entire NHL. If MacKinnon keeps playing like this, the Colorado Avalanche have a very good chance to win the STANLEY CUP.

Nate Dog, the puck is his bone. Watched him from the Mooseheads to my favorite team, and then a Cup. He's a underrated leader, even when he doesn't think he is. Has his own live in cook. Probably has the best crossover skate style and with speed. The Avs had him at $6.5m for 7 years because the oly time he fail to reach a point a game, it was probably the best contract in the NHL at the time.

The 20+ mph speed bursts stat is one of my faves. Nate is in the lead for the season and #2 is so far below him they might as well be on a different planet. MacK is the 5on5 goat. You also gotta remember all these late 3rd period and OT goals are also after hes probably played 23-25m every night.

I've said it for awhile, as good as McDavid is, if I was building a team & had my choice of anyone in the NHL, the first player I'd take is Makar but the next is Mackinnon. But at this point I'm leaning towards big Nate Dogg bc he's simply an animal. While McDavid might be faster in a straight line, Mackinnon is just TERRIFYING when he picks up a puck on his backhand, dips his shoulder, leans on his outside edge and EXPLODES through the neutral zone. I would rather get run into by McDavid 2x/day for 365 days a year than get hit by Nate once.

I'm starting to wonder if it's just a coincidence or if there's something there, where there has been at least 2 players now that have needed to take leave's from the team for substance abuse or mental help with the recent leave taken by Nich. Mack is nuts definitely top3 in the league. But get real mcdavid is easily the best in the league right now. If it hadn’t been for his slow start he would be right up there with kuch and Mack in points. Mack is definitely better in some areas but mcdavid is easily the better offensive guy.

McDavid is a higher points producer. However Mac is a better play maker, zone entery player, defensive player, hitter, fighter and leader. Mac is the whole package and not enough people give credit to that. If Mac could stay healthy like McDavid has in his career I think their point totals would be far harder to differentiate too.
