Today, we'll get into the watches I have in my collection. DO NOT GET INTO WATCHES.

I think all the years of hearing Nick say “don’t get into watches” has subconsciously formed me into a one watch guy. I was blessed to be able to afford a Omega SMP 300M a few years ago, and it’s been my one watch ever since.

Been a watch collector for a long time. The one thing I can recommend without fail is fluco aftermarket straps. Nothing better.

Great video--informative and entertaining, as always. Your admonition about not getting into watches constantly runs in my mind as I feverishly scroll through the offerings on eBay. And speaking of offerings--what brand is the Ti bracelet you added on the Maratac? Nice aftermarket Ti bracelets are really hard to find and that one looks great and would work on some of my Citizen Ti's as well. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I definitely gravitate to the micro-brand when it comes to watches. Some of them are ridiculous. But when you find "the one" that fits your personal sense of "good", they can be had for a comparatively reasonable price. For me, the Second Hour Mandala rang that bell, and I don't feel the need right now to look further....

Very nice collection, Nick! I did not know Pachenko made watches as well! Might have to hunt one down to match my EDC!! As far as Omega goes, yes, they are expensive, no denying that, but, compared to other luxury brands they are a steal. For the price, you get one the best movements in the business, the co-axial, and purchasing one is very straight forward. You can easily go to the boutique and buy one msrp. You don’t have to get on a list, buy pieces that you don’t like so they “allow” you to get the ones you like or go to the gray market (unless you want to) to get one at many times the msrp. With your Seamaster, I almost got it, but, like you, it wore kind of thick for me. The Original “Goldeneye” wears much thinner, even the automatic that Brosnen wore in the later movies, wears much better so I decided to go with that one! The micro brands are killing it and truly changing the watch game! No need to worry about getting mugged when wearing one!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

@@sagnikchaudhuri4142 I’ve noticed!! Bad for buying, definitely, but I can take solace in that my 3 Omegas haven’t depreciated, if you’re into that kind of thing. For me, Omegas remind me of my grandfather. He gifted me a Constellation many years ago that got stolen. I was able to get all the stolen ones except that one.

The Seiko Alpinist and the quartz Bretling are gone which is okay. I cycle through watches too.

Monta was gifted to my Godfather, and the Tudor moved on, never could love a non-adjustable bracelet.
