🎥🎥 Welcome to Mikey reacts, with your Host - Mikey. This is the channel that reacts to so much more than just music, but also history, politics and culture. I have a deep respect for the US military and a passion for the country that is the USA. So much so, that I'll be moving to Florida soon, to start my new life in the States!
This is the night Osama bin laden was killed by the brave soldiers of the USA, and those operators of seal team 6. This is such a patriotic moment, making any person proud to be American. The night bin laden was killed is one that will be remembered in every American heart after 9/11 and the tragedy that happened to the American people on that day in New York City! The atmosphere in this baseball stadium on the night that osama bin laden was killed must have been so patriotic and amazing, creating unity in the brave and wonderful American people that attended such an amazing baseball game, only to hear the news from President Barack Obama on the night that osama bin laden was killed by Brave and amazing US troops. What an amazing and patriotic and utterly American moment!
The night that the USA got the awful man that was Osama Bin Laden was maybe one of the most important nights in modern American history. It unified a nation!
Watch me react to this video, which describes what happened the night that he was killed by SEAL team 6 in the operation that saw them storming his compound in Pakistan.
This story has been immortalised in a Hollywood movie and is incredible, but this clip focuses on the atmosphere during an important baseball game as news started to flood in about that had happened, only to be followed by the president having a press conference to tell the nation what had happed.
This was an emotional rollercoaster. Naturally this made me feel happy but also sombre knowing the devastation that this mad had caused, yet happiness to know that he had finally been caught!
Watch me go though my emotions and talk about how amazing I think it might have been to be in this stadium as 40,000 people find out the information and start chanting USA USA USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
One Canadian player even thought the chant was intended to psych him out which I found to be quite funny!
Thank you everyone for your support in watching this video and hope to see you in the next video. Donny forget that if you want to support this channel, any donation through the super thanks button is so so appreciated. Y'all are amazing! God bless you all!

The USA USA USA chant was born in the 1980 Olympics when US college students beat the Soviet pro hockey team. It's referred to as "the Miracle on Ice" and given your love for America, you'll really enjoy reacting to it. Just find a more complete version that gives you the background leading up to it. (It's also a great movie by the same name w Kurt Russell)

Mikey, I can see you already have a huge amount of American Patriotism inside you. I can tell you that once you have taken your oath of citizenship to become a U.S. citizen, that sense of pride and that American Patriotism will reach a level that you will not be able to contain. However, being an American and becoming an U.S. citizen are two different things. Being an American is an attitude of the heart, it's something you are, not something you become. Becoming an U.S. citizen is a legal formality that allows you the rights and privileges of this country. I can say without a doubt, That YOU are already an TRUE American!

I think you’re a little carried away with your Nationalistic perspective … I Believe our country has A lot of room for improvement (my entire life we have been at war)…. My sister moved to Europe (around 10years ago) and is afraid to move back to USA For Many Reasons (mostly surrounding Idiot Congress , supreme court oligarchs etc ) …. I miss my family and my Country (it’s slipping into Trump Fascist Nationalist Territories Quickly). We All used to find a way to Build unity…We ALL united in 2001…..It’s not been possible since 2016.

@@AxelFoleyDetroitLionsI agree the USA needs improvement, but I think you’re also a little weird with your sensationalism talking about fear and fascism ect. The USA is behind most first world countries in a lot of ways, but it’s still better than most countries out there. Plenty of countries also have too many limits on things like freedom of speech and diversity of thought which is important in any truly free society.

I cried joyful tears. My brother had joined the Marines around the initial attack and seeing a success of such a magnitude was overwhelming. Watching 9/11 footage as it happened in real time is hard to watch but I think everyone should see it so they can get a glimpse of the horror so we can never let something like that happen again. When we forget history, we are bound to repeat it. I hope we, as humans, have learned.

My Geography Teacher Flipped the LIVE News on in my classroom Senior Year of High School……We saw the 2nd Plane Hit Building 2 Live . I had Friends in Marines shortly after….Some had kids in Marines , and in the same places 20 years later too. I’m glad we’ve pulled out and are preparing for eastern fronts now.

Your going to feel that patriotism in person pretty soon. It's a very wonderful feeling!!! When I heard the news I went outside with my family and held candles and people were honking their horns and out of nowhere hundreds of people joined us and held candles with us. It was AMAZING!!!!

I was in middle school and i remember hearing the news and the entire vibe in the whole country changed drastically. We went from losing family and friends in the war and living with a constant lingering fear and uncertainty and its like everyone adults and children alike took a sigh of relief collectivly. It was the end of an era and an end to one of the biggest moments in history

I did not find out until the next morning as I was asleep when announced. I found out the next morning. For me I just cried, overwhelmed with emotion, I prayed for all those living with the loss of loved ones killed that September day and for those who are living with injuries and trauma of experiencing 911. It was ten years and I had really thought that the day of reckoning would not happen in my lifetime.

Such an important & significant day for the U.S. and the world. That night..in that ballpark of 40,000 people..were true Americans in solidarity. Not as opposing team rivals, but as Americans. Proud of our men and women of the armed forces, our democracy, our President, our freedoms, our flag. A strong message was sent that night..any country or person(s) with an intent on inflicting harm against the people of the U.S. through heinous acts of terrorism.. will be delivered with the wrath of justice from our great American hero's of the U.S. military! It is unfortunate and sad also, that we had our own "home grown" domestic form of terrorism back on Jan 6, 2021😢 When heavily armed DJT supporters, attacked our capitol, inciting violence..an insurrection..that would leave 5 people dead. All because they believed the false claims of election fraud. This was not only an attack on our Capitol building, but also on democracy and the rule of law. But happy to say..Democracy prevailed! 1000 were charged, 500 have been sentenced thus far, for their roles in capital attack. NO ONE is above the law!

Some time around 18:00 EST I started hearing things; as it got later into the night it became more clear that, Yes, We Did Get Him! At around 22:00, I hung up the large Flag I had, to celebrate! I’m a soldier (retired),but I know people! My friends knew what I didn’t, and they were jubilant! They were also oblique about it, but knowing what to read and look for was enough for me to read like braille. As it got later in the night, the cement hardened! I knew it was 6! I knew it was Pakistan. I learned it was 160 SOAR too. 2+2=4

I recall this as if it occured yesterday (though I don't recall if it was day or nighttime). My wife and were watching television program when a "Special Report" screen suddenly appeared. I immediately felt a sense of dread that another terror attack on our home turf occured. Thank God it wasn't the case. Once it was reported that OBL was found and killed, we both held on to each other and audibly sighed with relief, and then out of nowhere we finally cried aloud with both deep body rattling grief, relief and happiness that victim families might begin to recover a sense of control, the nightmare ended, the deaths of their loved ones had been avenged by snuffing out our enemy's leader, and our military would continue to war until OBL's followers and sympathizers were no more. (I guess that we must have held our feelings in since 9/11 to be respectful and strong around family and friends.) Very positive progress had been made! A murderous lunatic was killed, and his followers were struck shocked and harmless, at least for the short-term. The USA sent OBL celebrants and followers a very clear, graphic message: If you dare ever mess with the USA or her allies. Our military will hunt you down and slaughter you like the filth-ridden vermin you are. If you hadn't at least guessed by now, the majority in the USA loves its military, our protectors, freedom fighters and deserving heroes. These brave men and women are the red, white and blue real deal. May God bless and protect them all.
