You guys didn't had a problem with him in previous games, in T7 he was broken, so this means he will be broken in T8 too, but in reality they almost nerfed every broken/top tier from T7 in T8(Except Alisa and Feng, they are still just as strong as they were), and T8 DLCs are pretty balanced so far, no matter how much people cried about Eddy, Lidia being "broken" and now Heihachi, none of them tops T7 DLCs.

99% of players have no idea what top 5 even means or why those characters are top 5. Marduk could easily pubstomp up to the highest of ranks and even top 100 players. The amount of skill/knowledge it took to counter him vs the low amount of knowledge/technical skill it took to abuse him was hilariously out of balance.
