In general, Ice Warriors aren’t actually that bad; they’re just very martial. If you don’t attack them or pose a threat to them, you _should_ be safe. They’re not evil, they just have a different set of morals As the Doctor said, they could _“destroy entire civilisations, then weep at the crushing of a flower.”_ *(I think that’s the line?)* The same thing, as Osgood said themselves, is true for Zygons and, we can assume, Nestene Conciousness *Just sayin’*

I love the references to the doctors former incarnations in this episode. Seventh Doctor's sweater Fourth Doctor's scarf (same one from Day Of The Doctor) Eleventh Doctor's bow tie and I think if I remember rightly, one of them had the Fifth/Sixth Doctor's shirt on (the one with the "?" on the collar) as well as love the fact that the doctor still acknowledges the fact that he used the "?" by saying "I have question mark undies on now!" which made me laugh since I'm an old school whovian.

One thing I did wonder was how the Zygon resettlement worked. We know Zygons replicate human beings, and disguise themselves. But did that mean they each had to copy another person? Did that not raise suspicion? I'm glad they explained why they didn't need to rely upon a body print anymore, otherwise the only way this was going to work was if Zygons copied human beings that had to be imprisoned beforehand.

Well how likely would you be to find someone who lived on a different continent than you? And if you did would you think alien impostor or would you just go back to your mates and say "Hey I just saw this guy who looked JUST like me isn't that awesome!?"? And that's assuming you even notice. People have a hard time recognising themselves and are also very oblivious when not paying attention to the point that you can be talking with someone and they can be replaced by a different person mid conversation without noticing. I'm not kidding there've been experiments. In short as long as UNIT didn't rub everyone's face into it nobody'd be the wiser.

How about that the BBC were afraid that the tapes to the original Doctor Who episodes would be stolen so they deliberately misfiled them under the name TorchWood. Years later we get the TorchWood we all know and love.

I never said my facts were obscure. That's what I'm here for. Well known facts is the kind of fact that 80% of the people that watch the show know and that about 90% of the people that have any common knowledge go like "oh yeah, that sounds logical". Labelling tapes so they don't get leaked? It's common! PlayStation4.5 in the gaming world? Called Project Scorpio or whatever. Codenames are so common that it's almost more rare to see something not have a code name. And impress you? If you were the kind of person impressed by a singular fact, I'd be surprised and disapointed. What you wanted me to say? That there were 14 actors that have thus far portrayed the doctor on screen? That William Hartnell promised to be in the 3 doctors and his wife heard about it and made a fuss? Or that Matt Smith got a part in a movie because of his pandorica speech? (Which I think is really good written but poorly executed (just like most Matt Smith stuff))

Dunga You're right. A lot of things do get hidden under different names during development. However not many of them have that name become its very own TV show with millions of viewers. "90% of the people that have any common knowledge go like "oh yeah, that sounds logical"." "Or that Matt Smith got a part in a movie because of his pandorica speech?" You think that people are going to be surprised that an actor got hired to act somewhere because someone saw them act? There are people who's entire jobs are to go along to small performances and look for any hidden talent. "Did you know Mrs Famous McWellknown was discovered while performing in a play above a bowling alley" is a little known fact. "Hey did you know Mat Smith was hired for a movie after one of the most well known speeches in Doctor Who history that millions of people watched?" is barely even a talking point. 14 people who've played the Doctor? I count at least 16 and that's even without counting all of the various Alternate Doctors and anti Doctors we've seen. It would be 17 but I'm not quite sure if one of them is supposed to be him or not and I can't be bothered to look it up. No I didn't hear about him being brought up for the 3 Doctors but to be honest I really don't pay much attention to the Actors personal lives. I know Matt Smith used to play Football and David Tennant was in Hamlet and Harry Potter and that's about it.
