Font too small, and I'm not a fan of a single column format. The thin paper is also another negative, as well as the price. I am growing fond of the translation, though I will always love the KJV! :)

I have to be honest, having heard so much about this bible, I'm a bit disappointed. I absolutely agree that the text block is great, but on my phone it doesn't really look like a really premium bible for the price. I've got the original filament single column and that text book is great for reading and a lot cheaper.

Looks like it should be maybe an 80$ Bible. I’m not paying near 200$ just because it has a certain layout

Really wish it had a sewn liner, even if it was synthetic. I am going to hold out for a bit on trying to get an NLT for the collection

Thank you Tim. I rushed to order it. I've been considering getting a Caxton but the cost was just ... well ... NO! Can't understand why Schuyler refuses to sell Caxtons in all the translations they have. Silly Schuyler!!! I've been concerned about the 8.5 point font but your comment re the leding makes sense, I've seen that come into play in other bibles and its a real thing. So, mine will be here in a few days and if I can read it as I believe I can then this will def be heading out to be rebound. I started by saying thank you ... I say it again: Thanks! I've been on the hunt for a "the one" NLT and frankly don't like any of the premium NLTs out there. I have high hopes this will be it. And if it is, I owe ya one pal!

I am VERY tempted to snag one of these NLT Selects! That said, I have an early edition green Caxton in lightly used condition that I’m happy with. (A few highlights and underlines I wish weren’t there.) Trying my best to practice contentment!
