don't think i've ever told you two this before. i started watching a year ago, or thereabouts. with all the strife and unrest throughout the country, and the world, one tends to get a bit dark and lose hope. then i see young, self empowered people like you, out in the world, living a life that is positive and full of hope, and promise. and sometimes, watching you, and on occasion, re-watching you, a ray of hope sneaks back into my own sense of the future. thank you.

Well..... I finally finished, took me about 8 days. My wife and I lived apart traveling international for our careers. Of course we saw each other every 8 weeks or less, meeting somewhere on the plant. I retired 10 months ago and moved to KSA to hang out while she worked. Now I ended up in lockdown since March. I started to work on our next adventure. So, I started a trek of Van living and stumbled upon you motor conversion (upgrade). The binge started........ Great job, keep sailing into your dreams. Will be watching you all for a long time.

I've been watching many boat channels but my fave has been SVDelos for a long time now, but they are all about the people. You two are all about the life and the struggles and the projects, real life on the boat, you give a true story of what daily life is like and the problems you face and how you overcome them. (Although I'd love to see more about costs) Your interaction with each other is genuine and pleasing and I've already learned loads about living aboard that I didn't know before. You may not know it but you are affecting peoples' lives and helping and inspiring them to live their own adventure. Your channel is now my favoured one and I hope you keep up the excellent videos.

Finally!! I caught up. I found one of your vids from watching van and schoolie renovations and yours was suggested. When I watched you guys do what I call "learn to fly on the way" I knew I had to watch the whole journey. Watched from step one and finally caught up with you guys. Resisted temptations to skip ahead and have seen every step of the way. Your "oh well, we'll figure it out" attitude reminds me of my wife and I so much. From our wives (your soon to be) being everyone's friend, to our MacGyver spirit. I've watched you guys progress in everyway possible from possessions to emotional and relationship growth. Thanks guys. Keep doing what you're doing, always take time for yourselves no matter what we (your audience) expect from you, and keep going while "learning to fly on the way"♥️ (from near your alma mater, Columbus, Ga.)

I love seeing and hearing the many ways God is blessing you kids. Y'all are proof that God does send us HIS blessings through good hearted and kind people. People that give small gifts from their heart and except nothing in return. This world need more people like them. I could see that you kids got a warm cozy feeling when you were telling us how those people blessed you with bread and jam. Now just imagine how muck joy and happiness those people felt on the inside by blessing you kids. Then you kids turned around and blessed all of us by sharing your story of how those people blessed you. Now you kids have passed on that warm cozy feeling on to us just by sharing your story..... Much love and prayers... BBE..

I just watched your "Boat Tour" video and I finally peeled myself off the ceiling long enough to say THANKS!!!!! I'm in the market for a 40' , my first sail power but my greatest hangup has been the prospect of living in that, cookie cutter brown and blue space wasting interior. I've built a few homes but had no idea how one would go about remodeling a boat until now. I too am a big fan of electric propulsion with some 30 car conversions before I met Stan Meyer and switched my thinking to home made hydrogen. Sorry I can't do the social media support but I will be buying your shirt, following your KZbin and when I resolve the Marine propulsion problem like I did the Corolla conversion problem I'll share. (dual bank source w/ alternating charging from the powered source) You seem smart enough to roll with that. BEAUTIFUL boat!!! I hope to run into you 2 sometime. May you always enjoy calm seas and steady winds...

Beautiful footage. Summer sailing in the Nord has got to be arguably the best in the world for the longest daylight! Additionally, I'm continually impressed with Pearson's helm-forward design on this model, especially for crew working the winches behind the helm and or for solo sailing. It also opens up the aft cockpit for guests to chill out of the way. Great naval architecture right there. Plus, you get the protection of the dodger.

Helps in Semi trucks parking at a truck stop when your not near the free Wi-Fi and spotty cell service for the cell boosters. Ever thought of using the tiny palm sized projectors to make a nice big screen for a late night movie? I use one in my semi instead of a breakable screen. So looking forward to this. We are in stage 4 covid restrictions in Victoria Australia . You can’t go more than five km from your home without a letter certifying a medical appt or work. You can’t just go for a drive. Only essential jobs are allowed. We are allowed out from our home for one hour a day to exercise and or grocery shop and must wear face masks out of our home. We must social distance and it’s taxing. We are alive and well and have 6000 people in our state with covid and have had over 200 deaths. Our country takes it seriously and we support it as we need to eradicate it. We can’t take the it is what it is attitude, we are doers not watchers. People think of us as easy going which we are however we take things seriously as well. It is because of these reasons that your episode of sailing at night with a full moon mean so much more than it would usually mean to me. Don't know any sailing lingo , what is tacking ? How far from shore can you anchor ? Love watching the videos.
@georgedoolittle75744 жыл бұрын
Tacking is sailing "downwind" meaning the wind is at your back. Usually very slow but not in this case which is nice. Good question!
@SailorAllan4 жыл бұрын
actually---"tacking" is changing your direction relative to the wind when going towards it ( upwind). changing your boats heading relative to the wind, going away ( downwind) from the wind is jibing .
@doolittlegeorge4 жыл бұрын
@@SailorAllan why would he have the Spinnaker out while tacking? I think he's "jibing" us..
@SailorAllan4 жыл бұрын
@@doolittlegeorge Dr.Doolittle : a spinnaker like that has a wide range of sailing from close hauled ( going to the wind) or easing the sheet and going with the wind behind you. this is the best part of sailboat nomenclature , a bit of kit that can distort definitions and keep a barman on his toes while we work this all out...
@tubeguy88884 жыл бұрын
Sailing is (among other things) about the wind and your relation to it. When you are going windward (toward the wind) , you cannot go directly into the wind (in irons). So you sail to one side of the wind or the other. When crossing the wind in front of the sail you are "tacking". If you cross the wind behind the sail you be "jibing" .
