There's a possibility that police won't spend time to solve crime of a temporary resident in US. Olga was in US with a working visa. Now the case was solved and on air he had no choice but to issue an apology.
@Monika-bc3dq
@Monika-bc3dq Жыл бұрын
@@thumtlnguyen3626 it doesn't always make any difference if the case becomes widely public and "on air" or not to be honest. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Denise Huskins case, but she was kidnapped and released and then publicly called a liar by their local PD, a real live "Gone Girl" by media and the PD even threatened charging her and her bf (I'm not from US, so I don't remember how exactly the charge was called, but basically for wasting police force's time and citizen's money on a carefully planned hoax). Then it turned out it was not a hoax, she was actually kidnapped, they got the perpetrator and even tho police came under fire for treating them both like shit, the same spokesman for the PD who called them a liars said he doesn't see any need for an apology (while they genuinely dragged the couple in every public appearance they organized). They got an apology from the Pd, but it took 6 years, and it was long after the spotlight was on the case.

@@c8myotome So don't glamorize it. How is watching this video any different from watching a movie about the story? You're already using it as a form of entertainment. Viktoria is a pig, but Nadia and the investigator are amazing. They deserve to have their stories told. People love movies about justice. Plus, you could very easily write a fiction film but just use elements from this case. The villain being so narcissistic that she can't stop posting to social media, and the eagle-eyed PI locating her using the reflection in her sunglasses? That's gold! I'd watch that. Personally, I'd make Nadia the main character. What she did to get justice for her mother is inspiring.

She had enough money to fly to Russia and travel 60,000 miles with all the fuel costs and hotel costs that entails, as well as hiring a detective who was racking up a lot of hours for him and his team. So it would seem money is something she has in abundance, so I would imagine it would be an easy bribe to get hold of phone records and traffic footage.

How different Victoria looked when she was sentenced . Obviously as a narcissist that got caught , investigated and found out depression set in . Also she probably needed more size as she probably wanted to carry on intimidating and controlling people from and in prison. I would of sent her back to Russia and the police after her trial . I think she was actually living with or at the expense of another very wealthy person and he had no idea . I am sure that was where she got the 300 car and the New York apartment. I think he stood up for her at the .very beginning im sure this is the case maybe a doctor or someone of that education and professionalism. I remember that detective though . He did a very very good job and spent a long time looking for her ... Anyway people like this who kill and destroy so many people should really really not be allowed to live anymore. If the death penalty is too inhumane then why is there not a punishment where you chemically alter someone's brain so that makes them incapable of manipulating and hurting people . The death penalty I think is the fair way to make things equal but today we have drugs and procedures that will change evil people permanently and give them a different life but still a life where they cant hurt people this way ....

IT'S NOT "Her sister came in from THE UKRAINE." It's Ukraine. Her sister came in from Ukraine. You wouldnt say "....came in from The Germany". Its the same principle.

For the clarity's sake, copying my comment from another message: you definitely SHOULD say "THE Ukraine". Just like THE Netherlands, THE Hague, EL Salvador, "Ukraine" is a common name (Old Russian "Oukraina/Оукраина", i.e. "a borderland") made into a noun that denotes a region, then a country. Lifting the article was 100% a political notion pushed by the newly independent Eastern European country. It does not have anything to do with it being offensive or not to Ukrainians. Why would somebody be offended by how their country sounds in a different language?
