I haven't looked for any Nub references in a few years. It's fun to see you guys liked what we did. We had a freakin' blast making the music that we did. If anyone is ever interested in knowing more about The Nubs, look me up. And yes, RIP Ron. Loved that we made music again in later years. You'll always be a great friend.....Phil Boynton, Bass Guitar and Vocals, The Nubs

hey Phil, that’s really cool. not a lot of folks from these lesser known (but equally as great) independent punk bands usually share any sort of insight or update about their past bands. how many of these did you guys press? Was there a cover?

@@buddhull That was a bootleg of a 45 we made in 1978 in New Hampshire. We made a couple hundred copies I think, no idea how many bootleg pressings there were. It was just a 45, no cover. Thanks for asking!!!

@@buddhull Amazing that there were two bands both called "Nubs" at about the same time (1979-1980). Is that a slang term I somehow missed?

Peter Werner could be a penile reference, could be a missing limb reference... lots of interpretations. I’d use it for a band if it weren’t taken a few times over!
