I would think that these women, at least the mom, has some sort of schizoaffective disorder. The flat tone, pressured speech (not pausing in between points), strange beliefs, and little logical flow from one point to the next. Not to mention the absolutely relentless dedication to her cause. As for the daughter, I don't really know. In the episodes that she's the "primary channel", she talks a lot more naturally and logically than her mother. I don't think she has a schizoaffective disorder, although she probably has some sort of second-hand mental issues because of living with her mother for so long. I'm not an expert, this is just speculation.
