Im a life long fan. I love their music. Two of my favorite groups when i was a kid , the Oak Ridge boys and the Statler Brothers. The first time i saw these guys it was on our black and white tv. The same tv that we had when JFK was killed and Lee Harvey Oswald , And Bobby Kennedy . Martin Luther king jr, when he was killed.And The first moon landing. Thank God for the O.R.B's and the S. B's. Keeping the balance from all the killing that we were seeing at that time. That sounds like an eternity ago but really it wasn't. And Thank you Mike. I wished you could have been our President . I am SO happy for & PROUD of Ben! I was lucky enough to get to see him on stage with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Dailey & Vincent & the Oak Ridge Boys! The night in Ben’s interview about Joe handing him his mic to sing was so special, I am so glad I was in the audience! I knew he would do well the first time I heard him sing. Joe, Duane, William Lee & Richard all saw something or they would’ve never agreed to bringing him onboard. I respect their decision 100%. I can’t wait to see them again! Forever an Oaks fans! 💙

I hope you guys see this. When my daughter was small she sang with you , but she sang what she heard. “Well fire up”. Has become a family tradition at every occasion we all are together, dancing or just singing. ( Even tho’ my 30s g’kids hate it .) I still insist. Even have been searching for a good instrumental to send them off at my funeral with an upbeat happy remberance. Love you guys and have given my family great memories and happiness.

Love the Oak Ridge Boys for as long as they have been around. Joe had no choice due to health reasons, he was forced to retire. I’m not one of those who will not accept a new guy. But honestly the new guy just doesn’t fit. He’s trying to hard to put a country twang to his singing. Maybe he will grow on me but for now, it’s a no for me. Sadly, we all grow old. A farewell tour seems to be timed perfectly. Good luck gents.
