I have an argument against Sideshow's superstar syndrome take for Washington. During Washington's run in the playoffs, at the very beginning of the run, we pointed out how the strat was just to pocket Decay. We commented about how teams would get a read on them and shut them down. Then, they started sharing resources more with Jjanu, Ttuba, and Stitch, and all those players popped off. They evolved their playstyle throughout their playoff run to adjust to their opponents, and those players weren't exactly the caliber of the current Washington roster. I think they'll be fine in that regard.

Atlanta finished 12th last season. They keep their Tank-line and support-line while adding onto an already cracked DPS line. This team arguably has the worst coaching staff, I can't believe these guys will actually make top 10.

I feel you're underrating teams such as Florida and London who have pre existing synergy. The season is so short that having to build that synergy and getting up and running could be so detrimental to teams if they start slow/poorly and get boomed early on.

I think SHD have a much higher chance of winning this year than Shock. And I think....people may hate it, but by a large margin too. They will be hungry, Fleta especially I think. Moon rallies the troops and gets Fate, arguably a better and more well rounded main tank than Fearless, bolster their DPS and support line with better pieces and I think at the end if they play Shock again, they will in fact beat them, possibly badly.

I’m not saying they can’t get it together, but bringing in new players to replace Moth, Rascal, and Ans has to shake up your synergy. If they aren’t as sharp as usual I can see a world where Shanghai rises above them.

I’m currently at the 10 spot, and I hear how they’re talking Dallas in talk with Atlanta and hunters. I like Dallas, but don’t see them as a top 4 team. I do however trust them over Atlanta who, without that one stage with dafraan, has been awful. They brought back a lot of last year, and that was miserable besides beating up on bottom 3 teams. I’d have Hunters, Reign, Mayhem, Dynasty, and Fuel from 10-6

Shock did have some significant turnover in season 3 in that the season 2 league MVP retired at the start of the season. Architect also left but had a more minor role.
