The word sore is indeed what the definition tells you! However when it comes to the way you use that’s important to. No one would normally say the there head ache is a head sore. They would say it’s a head ache but you could describe it as being sore but not in the way you would say it as. Yeonmi park is a horrendous source. If you want a genuinly good source you should read "Nothing to Envy" by Barbara Demick. It's regularly cited as the best book on North Korea and life inside of the state. Yeonmi since leaving has had drastic contradictions and tried to downplay the horrors of north Korea by saying college campuses are crazier. She is an idiot. Another good book is "north Korea confidential" and also the book "Without you there is no us"
