The thought of a wrestler who's finishing move is time traveling abortion is genuinely terrifying.

Eddie Kingston used the Backfist to the Future. In 2011 he punched Archibald Peck that he literally sent him to the year 2015 He discovered an almanac that contained everything that would happen, he went back in time and used this knowledge to his advantage. Then by the time the year 2015 came around, Archibald Peck was killed, then the version of him from 2011 appeared, bought the sports almanac and learned of his death, he would then travel back to 2011 and complete the cycle. Wrestling is weird

the reason so many people have feet fetish's is because, no joke, the part of the brain that is stimulated sexually and the part of the brain that acknowledges feet are RIGHT next to each other, so sometimes they get too close and...you know.

I think these guys would work better just shooting the shit. This podcast always has a feeling of just "hanging out with the guys" due to the fact that there are awkward pauses, no advertisements, no music in the background. It's something I listen to while editing or playing games or something and that's great. It definitely feels forced to see these genuinely likable personalities have to try and come up with answers to questions. If you want my suggestion I say that you keep a Q&A segment near the end if you can dig around and find one or two really good questions that you can have banter with. But for the other 45 minutes or whatever I would just say talk like you normal would in a skype call. Just shooting the shit, telling stories, etc. All podcasts have an awkward feel in the beginning but i think that's something these 4 can get past. It might be more editing to cut out the really long silences but I think Andrew is right. If everyone brings something to the table that they can talk about like a weird sex dream or something stupid they saw on the internet it would be like a real conversation with friends. Or have a topic that everyone can talk about but don't feel like you have to fill up the whole hour with just that topic. Tangents are funny. I think once they pass the awkward phase and fill the gaps of silence, just hearing 4 friends talk is definitely something I'd love to listen to. Because all my friends are dead and the graveyard said I can't have keep digging them up to have tea parties.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll take it on board when we record the next episode. We pre-recorded Episode 3, 4 and 5 before Christmas so we kind of had to rely on questions and such to get us talking for 3+ hours but we're definitely planning on experimenting with the formula in the future!

I'm not an expert on podcasts or anything but I do want to point things out that I found off-putting even though I do like the podcast. At least in this episode it felt awkward and the conversation stumbled a lot. There was also a lot of dead time. You guys are supposed to be friends right? Talk about stuff you want to talk about. I think the strong point of this podcast is that at times it is filled with wit and camaraderie, but at the weak point it's awkward and haphazard. I believe if you hone in on just having candid conversations with a very lose guide instead of strictly going by whats on the note cards then you would have a very damn near perfect podcast. Who cares if you guys go on tangents or don't finish all the topics on the note card.
@leonb2285 жыл бұрын
Very late on this reply, but I really have to disagree with you on some points. Honestly, I don’t mind hearing those awkward moments where nobody’s saying anything because it sort of brings that genuine feeling to it. Though I can obviously see where you’re coming from, none of your friends in real life are always going to be full of fresh and interesting material. Same idea here. Seeing these guys struggle reminds me that they’re just a couple of friends talking. And that’s what sells it the most for me.
