It used a series of gears and you would input the date and it would show you what the stars looked like at that day, or it will predict the future patterns based off of old patterns. The process of making peace at the end of WW2 was definitely one of the most impactful periods of history. Things didnt go back to “normal” Europe had to be denazified, reconstructed, and bankrolled, the Cold War began flaring up almost immediately, you have the Nuremberg Trials, the convening of the United Nations. I have no idea how Andrew thought things just “went back to normal” because world war was the norm.
