That dahmer victim that went out asking for help was a 14 y/o kid. He literally had a drilled hole on his skull but the police either didn't see nor cared. i still think about that poor boy whenever i see the news, etc. He was inches away from being saved, but nobody saved him. That case and the toybox killer like, live in my nightmares, rent free. Dahmer was shived in his cell.
@SwampWitchBusy2 жыл бұрын
He was actually hit with a barbell by an other inmate who had killed someone else the same way minutes before. Apparently the first guy put up a fight but Dahmer didn't try to defend himself. The 14yo boy you're speaking of wasn't taken seriously because Dahmer said he was on drugs and basically fooled the police into thinking he was the boy's guardian.

Laughing Snake, hes closer than you are. A certain object was inserted into Dahmers rectum to simulate the torture he inflicted. @@gregs3823 his cause of death was server head traumer, he was beaten twice over the head with a barbell by a fellow inmate called Christopher Scarver. About shitty teachers: I had a geography teacher who was still relatively young: late 20's, early 30's. He was still trying to be 'the cool teacher', but the problem was that he had quite a temper. I remember one time he went full 'gamer rage' during class because someone left a hate comment about him on the official school website. Obviously, his fragile ego could not take it. He insisted that he had a 'hacker friend' who could track the person down. He eventually came to the conclusion that it was this one particular dude in our class. Granted, the dude was a complete asshole so it was a fair assumption, but he later turned out to be completely wrong. He spent the rest of the year basically fawning over the dude and giving him hella compliments just to make up for the massive blunder. Was awkward. Oh, he also once took a guy's phone and tried to pressure him into giving him the password so he could read his texts aloud in front of the class. Shockingly, it didn't work.

If I remember correctly, on the question Jackson asked about whether there were less serial killers today, I believe there’s actually a traceable increase during the 70s and 80s of people with those proclivities due to higher average concentrations of lead in people’s bloodstreams. There was an old Vsauce video that kind of touched on this.
@Courier_Seven2 жыл бұрын
On the contrary, I'd argue there's more serial killers than ever today, more people on earth than ever, massively popularized and widespread drug use, crime ranging from theft of money or belongings to outright murder for next to no reason in some cases, intentionally harmful business practices which exacerbate these issues, the normalization of violence and godlessness in culture and media, the devaluing of human life as a whole, mainly stemming from the popularization of abortions over the last couple decades, the numbing of our souls through prolonged and almost dependent usage of technology, our politicians are bloodthirsty in the sense that war always makes them and their buddies profit so there's always people's itching for war and will stoke racial tensions to disgusting degrees if it means they will be re elected.

@someloser60412 жыл бұрын
I believe their prevalence and decline is more connected to time. A lot of serial killers were on average about 30-40 and their peak was the 1960s-80s. So generally speaking a lot of them would probably have been born during WW2, or soon after to Veterans who tended towards violence (corporal punishment) and had some mental issues themselves during a time period where there were a lot of wars going on already. I sincerely believe that something about how some veterans (or people related) raised their children was causing a lot of this. Parental disconnect is an absoloute killer for a kid's mental state, especially back then when there was a stigma to that sorta shit

You guys need to get Wendigoon on the podcast as well as Freddy Wong. Literally every guest I want to see on this podcast ends up on Forehead Fables before y'all despite you guys being significantly more mainstream.
