I love and appreciate how Gayle never seemed to try to live above her means years prior to getting multimillion dollar gigs at CBS and CNN, and now that she has, she’s showing financial appreciation to Oprah, who’s been so rich for so long that nobody seem to realize that she hasn’t experienced something as simple as a shopping spree paid for by someone else. I’m glad Gayle was the first to give that to her. Most people envy Oprah’s wealth without realizing the burden of what it means to be “the rich one” in most groups that you’re in. People often don’t realize that the gifter needs gifting, too.

Always a 15 minute "grace" period to show up for lunch, dinner -- meeting in the hotel lobby to gather and go to a group function together. Unless there is text or phone call with a very very good reason to be late --- time to leave. Showing up late is a form of control and I am controlled by no one.

I love you two. I live full time in my motor home, 25’, and tow a Jeep Wrangler. I am leaving on the 13th of June, with a tour group (the company makes all the Rv park and campground reservations along with activities reservations) headed for British Columbia, The Yukon and Alaska for SIXTY days. I love their friendship. PS I agree with their advice for the woman on the family trip with the mother-in-law. However, I think she should be able to take a break from the family. Maybe walk on the beach or stay behind and read, shop, etc. I know families with children who take turns having a day to themselves while the other parent manages the kids.
