Yeh they have done quite a bit of work on the banks for shoots that they hold now. I managed to speak to the head keeper who kindly let us take the car down. Made it a much better day not having to walk as far. Looking forward to seeing again next year.

Nice beat Pollochaig but you need water so you did well to hook anything. That looked a decent fish you had on there, i dont think you were too hard on it. Sometimes you get a run of fish coming off that's just the way it goes sometimes, most important is getting the take in the first place. Nice fish for your Dad, big tail on that one.

@nairnfly the one dad got had a massive tail on it. I felt the tail hit the line on the one I lost probably just enough to knock the hook out of it's mouth. Yeh it definitely fishes better when it's around 1 foot 6 inches. It was about 5 inches when we were down. We both had another few pulls each that day too.
