Your perspective on ideas vs execution is interesting. I wonder if low budget strong concept movies would benefit from comic book style narrative blocks to clue in the audience to resolve issues like the one you mentioned about the first vision??

Okay. That take on the antichrist is very original and interesting. Another movie with an original take on the antichrist is Lost Souls. Well, not the antichrist, but the person before the possession.

I have a friend who is part of a cult. As part of their "missionary work" they show movies to illustrate the chronological history of the Bible up to the end of times and it includes this film.

Always liked that movie too it stuck out from the others. However I liked the Left Behind ones too. I didn't know a redo was being done for omega code though so will be watching out for that.

Haven’t finished your video, but I’m coming back! I vaguely remember this movie and initially thought I had seen it, but dang... this plot is so interesting! The devil uses God’s prophecies to try to out-god God?!? That is an amazing plot! Man. We need to get a really good writer on this to make it work. That’s just such an amazing plot and feels so like something CS Lewis would have written as some crazy futuristic sci-fi book (I’ve watched your vids on he space trilogy a while back because I had started rereading them and they’re still in the forefront of my mind, especially as my kids clamor for me to read Perelandra after I finished Out of the Silent Planet for them.) anyway...good stuff here!

Yeah, this movie is filled with a lot of great ideas. Maybe not always the best execution but the ideas are there and they are very interesting, they can be a little CS Lewis like. The space trilogy is amazing, and the 3rd book feels like an end times practice run, like the devil is gearing up for the real thing. Thank you so much for watching!

I've heard of this film but had no desire to watch it. I've actually seen a couple of the Cloud 10 pictures releases & never wanna revisit them again. Michael York is really good in Logan's Run(1976).

The only reason someone thinks a Christian movie is cheesy is because they think it's cheesy to be a Christian.
@ChrisDurban2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes that is the case. But some Christian movies...are cheesy, lol! This one though has some very interesting moments.

What did you think of it?

Same. It was oddly less “heavy handed”. Definitely Christian propaganda heavy but still done in a way that made it work slightly as a “movie”. Idk haha
