Gonna be honest - I own this bracelet and every time I wear it I just find myself reaching for the oem steel bracelet for the SMP300. Something about the seams master identity is tied to the mix polished linked bracelet for me

Agreed. The nine bar looks part of the watch and, adjusted correctly is perfect. Mesh doesn't compete in looks or comfort. It's a fashion gimmick, nothing more.

I think the original steel is more comfortable. I have steel on my SMP and the mesh on my Bond 60th. The mesh bends in all the wrong places, clasp area is bulky, got heaps of room side to side but none between case back and clasp. So it’s both tight and loose at the same time (7.5” wrist). Definitely try before you buy.

I have bought a stainless steel mesh bracelet, and found a problem with the clasp. When the lock is in the fourth hole, the end of the bracelet hits the hinge, and when the claps are opened, it pushes the lock open and the bracelet slides out of the lock.

That’s cause the size of the bracelet you got is too long for your wrist.

​@@papaechoromeo6789 I know exactly what you mean. Saw a video as well and I handled the titanium mesh that got caught like that in the hinge. I got mine a few days ago which is the standard size. I wear mine on the 3rd smallest hole. But I decided to see if the tip of the mesh where the Omega is engraved gets stuck if its at the 4th hole. It doesn't. There's plenty of room for the tip and it doesn't get caught in the hinge. I think Omega fixed this problem on the later batches of the mesh bracelet. It's definitely not on the mesh that I just got. They definitely fixed it.

How well does this fit compared to the oem bracelet? The oem bracelet has a micro adjust but I don’t think this one does.

How uncomfortable? Looks ridiculous compared to the nine bar. Entirely out of place, a step backwards. It doesn't even suit the NTTD, which looks better on leather and would be amazing on a matching, titanium nine bar. It's pairing a contemporary '90's calsic, with a cutting edge '60's icon and other than looking oddly unbalanced, it has no aesthetic value. But hey, if it float your boat.❤

I wear my Seamaster on mesh and it’s about 100x more comfortable than the original bracelet. Much more adjustable and wears on my wrist more closely.

Love the look of a mesh strap, but they always have a strange gap near the watch. Leather is sticker and fills that gap better. They should make fitting end links for mesh straps too

mesh bracelets have more eye appeal on a dress watch than a rugged sports version . Heavier watch requires a bracelet that can handle the stress. In my opinion, a jubilee style bracelet is the lightest that should be worn on the heavier sports watch.
