For the "Unpowered main character wrecks shop on everyone else" best boi, I really like "Great Wise Man's Beloved Pupil." Guy in a fantasy setting that can't use magic properly just beats down everyone who tries to fight him. His main rival/best friend is the stereotypical isekai protagonist with a cheat skill, but he still gets his shit pushed in by the MC. So good.

Shonen and Seinen are demographics. Chainsaw Man is a shonen because it is published by shonen jump, which is a shonen magazine. K-ON is a seinen because it was published in a seinen magazine. Shonen and Seinen do not care about the genre and tone of the series it only cares about where it was published and its intended demographic

If I’m honest, the sound of the Hell’s paradise system seems enticing, but also has made me feel very off, not necessarily uncomfortable but more so anxious as I’m hoping and praying that neither Gabimaru or Sagiri are in such an intimate scene even if it’s to get stronger. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to see the kunoichi in that situation either. I’m aware that due to the nature of it being more effective the better it is essentially ensuring that forced intimacy doesn’t happen so that’s not my concern. My problem is, and this is just going off of how I feel after hearing it described, that I wouldn’t want to grow with a character, see them becoming someone I’m invested in just fur them to sleep with someone for one night for a power up. I guess it’s my lack of enjoyment in characters having flings rather than relationships which I understand is a very selfish and childish viewpoint but it’s still the one I have.

Lol no one is asking, but Shounen, Seinen, Shoujo, and Josei are demographics. A series is considered one or the other based on its primary market (who it's intended to be read by) Typically, the easiest way to identify a series demographic is to check which magazine they were initially serialized in. There are some gray areas. There's always been a confusion where people assume the demographics are genres.
