Having watched dozens of drone videos this is probably the most useful one I have viewed so far. It is perfect for a beginner. Many of the other videos concentrate on the drone and not the controller, this video explains how to use the controller whist still demonstrating the resulting video. Brilliant! I wish there were more videos like this.

I agree that this is great for beginners but rather than learn specific stick movements it is far better in the long run to learn instinctive control like riding a bike... or like experienced FPV pilots. Eventually you develop muscle memory and can simply fly anywhere and anyhow that takes your fancy instead of relying on specific "moves." Once you learn muscle co-ordination it brings a new level of enjoyment, freedom and exploration. Rather than focusing on the sticks getting them "right" you just drift with the drone and your fingers drive it without thinking about stick movements at all. My advice would be to fly the drone at every opportunity even if you have nothing specific to photograph... just like learning to ride a bike. Just keep putting it up there and practise and eventually you will be able to do any move you like without thinking about it at all or looking at the sticks.

Such great tips and I just went for a test flight on my new Mini 3 Pro with the RC. Question using a dronie. Does it only give the distance to adjust and not height. I have imperial and choose 120ft, but clicking that little down scroll next to the feet - right under that it read 120 meters. Is it just the imperial measure of feet that is true, and the meters on the bottom is when you're in meters to adjust distance. I'll understand if you can't answer. I already appreciate what you do.

These videos are great! Well done, very informative and interesting. Can’t wait to try these, but currently my Mini 2 is sitting in a bag of rice because I crashed it into a creek this morning - DOH! It was only underwater for maybe 1-2 min and and only an inch or so below the surface. I immediately took the battery and SD card out, shook the water out, held it in front of my vehilce air vent all the way home drying the inside as much as possible. Then when I got home I used the blow dryer with no heat to dry it out well and then put it in a bag of rice and aome desiccant packets. I will wait a day or two before trying it again but I think it will be ok. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 😂
