I sort of understand this. I watch horror, but only "fun" horror. I prefer movies that are a bit lighter, with a party atmosphere. Typically I don't rewatch anything in October, save for the 31st, I tend to use that month to knock off anything new that I haven't got around to so it always feels fresh 😊 but the 31st is definitely when I fall into comfort watches, oddly a lot of my films then are family friendly so it's always going to be Trick R Treat Drag Me to Hell (can't explain why but this always fits the vibe for me) ParaNorman Arsenic and Old Lace Casper & The Witches. the Blair witch projest is nothing like it was when it first came out. noi credits, no names of actors. it was escorted with new clippings placed online that looked like news paper articles about those kids and the area. A crap ton of people actually thought those three kids died and they shoed that footage in cinema screens like watching some knd of CN proadcats of people jumping from the world trade center before it went down. 2 of those actors never even for credits until 10 years later, Heather I saw died barely anyone knowing who she was... it was more about how they orgrastrated that movie that made it the all time 'cost to make vs gross at the cinema' movie ever done. 60k to make vs half a billion world wide.

So happy you mentioned Sleepy Hollow, i adore that movie. Really good list. Several of these are in my regular rotation, and it’s very helpful to get recommendations for some films I haven’t seen yet.

My must watches are: Scream, IT Chapter 1 and 2, and Boys in the Trees (not so much horror but very much Halloween).

The Innkeepers was filmed at The Yankee Pedlar Inn, Torrington CT. I've stayed at this Inn, and yes, very creepy in there. Didn't see a ghost, but it felt like one could pop out at any time. Place is freezing cold too. Currently closed undergoing renovation, I believe.

The second I heard you loved "The Ring", "Hell House LLC", "TBWP" *and* "Session 9", I knew I had to 👍🏻 and sub to your channel... 😊
