If you've been wondering on how to make the best out of your kettlebell training, you've come to the right place. There's a powerful secret that has been known for ages in the competitive world of kettlebell sport. To be honest, nobody has given it a name yet so I’ll take the lead.
We call it "Super Flow".
What is super Flow?
Super Flow is a unique, advantageous and efficient flow state that can only be achieved with our hollow core competition kettlebell. It is well worth your investment if you want to take your kettlebell training to an elite level of mastery, performance and enjoyment.
Here’s why:
Because of the weight displacement towards the handle, the weight sits proximal to the hip in the back swing and therefore closer to your COM* (which sits approximately at the hip). This enables greater performance and higher efficiency especially in the Swing, Clean, Snatch & Jerk.
Experiencing an ideal arch of momentum increases your level of confidence, enjoyment, safety and will yield better results - because you can advance to heavier weights (if that’s the goal). more quicker!
You'll feel the difference once you pick up our kettlebells for a spin: That feeling you’re experiencing is what we call Super Flow; a specific kind of flow-state or peak experience.

As a beginner with kb training, I made a lot of mistakes. I bought plastic kettlebells that are terrible, do not even try that guys :D Then I bought iron cast kettlebells, but my hand is not that big and long and it is hard for me to hold it tight for a longer period. All of that I did to "save" the money. My last shopping was 2x12kg hollow competition kettlebells and, my booooy, that was a real deal.

Thanks for sharing! We're coming up with a weight and size guide soon and we share the same conclusion like you: Stay away from "plastic, rectangular" kettlebells and save some money for a better kettlebell. - Gregory

You say that bringing the mass of the kettlebell closer to the handle, which moves the center of gravity (CG) closer as well, has positive benefits. Isn't the advantage of the kettlebell over dumbbells that the eccentric location of the CG from the handle recruits additional muscles to stabilize the weight? Logic suggests that as a person improves their kettlebell skills over time there would be benefit in moving the CG even further from the handle. It seems that kettlebells with the weight concentrated near the handle are for beginners and as a person progresses they would want kettlebells with the weight concentrated in the base. Thoughts?

Great observations Spencer! The major difference between dumbbells and kettlebells is a given; independent of the type of bell you're using. Try swinging a dumbbell and you'll see that the even weight displacment makes ballistic exercises futile. Hollow core, "fitness" (filled) competition kettlebells and even the most "crappy" plastic bells all offer the needed offset to your COM to make ballistics effective and possible. What I'm describing in this video is the feeling of efficiency, enhanced productivity and effectiveness where no ounce of energy is unnecessarily wated. The kettlebell just "fits" perfectly to your body. The difference is subtle, yet still evident enough to be noticed. Beginners will use the most effective equipment from day one and if progress is needed, you go up in weight. No reason to make an exercise harder through inefficient patterns for advancement. - Gregory

Those bells look like they have a killer paint job! I think so many beginners would benefit from starting with competition bells. I think the terminology should shift. Olympic barbells/plates are standard in gyms now but no one refers to them as Olympic, they are just accepted as normal. I think the name "competition" turns some people away from them. They should be called something like "standardized" kettlebells.

You might be right as the problem is the lack of standards when it comes to hard-style kb's (no consistency even within the line of products from the same supplier, basically no quality control). Comp-style kb's are practically unavailable to buy anywhere, not counting the dodgy products they sell on the net. So this is really good news, vielen Dank, mein Herr! 💪😎 😄

Your material is fantastic and yours is always one of the KZbin channels I recommend. I’d like to shift to competition style bells, and I’d like to support your channel if I can. Since you are starting small, wondering if they are going to be available in the States, when (Mar ‘23?) and what the shipping cost will be roughly? Hollow KB are not that uncommon I believe. How are yours different from any other reputable comp KB provider?

Shipping will be around April 23 and cost will depend on the weight you're purchasing. Let me know what weight you're interested in and I can share the (approximate) shipping cost. If you already are using a hollow core kettlebell, you'll tap into that "Super Flow" potential I'm sharing. Most importantly though: You'll be missing that fancy LS logo and that beautiful paint job! :) Thanks for asking! - Gregory

I don't think so. We want to stay competitive with pricing; plus our manufacturer in China is solid, very polite and they offer smaller quantities for production which is great for a small business like ours is. My goal is to build a solid relationship with our suppliers and first impressions count. Our first impressions is off the charts; so I will stick to trusted sources. - Gregory
