Billy said Elvis told him on August 14, 1977 that the only thing that mattered was love. Then Billy said, that Elvis said, ive only really loved 2 times and Billy said, well i know Ginger and linda, Anita.... And Elvis said, you dont know them, it was before your time. Then he said he lost the one he loved because of his career. Saw it 2 days ago on youtube from an interview with Billy.

Beautiful music and voice Joe. And so beautiful with Elvis' poem. What a beautiful gift for Lucy. Despite everything Elvis went through, he knew real love and saw who really loved him. ❤. Cant wait hear Desiree talk in an interview with you one day. God bless.

@ I read „Are You Lonesome Tonight“ a few years ago… in fact it was one of my first books on Elvis. I was so touched by the - for me - most beautiful and at the same time saddest love story ever. I searched for the poem but never could find it … since now. So thank you again, Joe 🤩

First Joe, the poem is beautiful and straight from the heart. Though I know you can’t publish it as a song, it would be one that would bring tears. I believe you’re a very genuine person, and would never do anything to hurt Elvis reputation, or anyone that he loved. I didn’t realise until last night that you’ve received such backlash for reading Lucy’s book. You never forced anyone to listen to the book. I don’t see any disrespect shown toward Lisa Marie. We all know she was always legally Elvis’ daughter. We all loved Lisa. She didn’t have an easy life after Elvis’ death. I think a part of her heart was always with her father. The emptiness she felt could never be filled. You have been very respectful of Lisa. We would have loved for Elvis to have had more children. I am a believer of Lucy’s book, and that Desiree is a result of their love. I believe the poem for Lucy was written by Elvis. I don’t say that to disrespect or discount Lisa or Elvis. This uproar is the reason Lucy and Desiree remained quiet and lived their lives outside of the media. I wish Desiree the best. I wish Lisa was still alive and happy to carry on Elvis’ legacy as it should be. Thank you, Joe, for all you do for the love of Elvis.❤

Last comment, I had to relisten a few times. I have to say this or it will bug me lol Joe in all truth and honesty, my opinion is it's a hit song. I can only imagine emotions you feel singing it. You put your creative stamp on it, so I'm guessing it must feel like collaberating a song with Elvis. The song needs to be recorded and heard. I understand thou with working it out with EPE. Sure is a hit! ⭐

Did you say Lucy was forced to get married at eleven years old and already had two children by the time she met Elvis? I must have misunderstood what you said. Elvis mentioned Desiree in the poem. For some reason, I was thinking he didn't know about her. I didn't know anything about Lucy until I started watching your channel.
