Energy > time always! This is a lesson hard learned for me as a freelancer with chronic illness. After burning out at my corporate job and tanking my health, I knew when I became a freelancer that I had to do things differently. Now I know I only have a certain amount of (mostly mental) energy during the day to work, and once that’s used up, I’m done. I also take breaks and replenish my energy where I can, but I always hit a point where I’m just done (in a comfortable way, not a totally used up way) and when I reach that point, I stop. Period. So many of us are trying to fill up hours in the work day with busy work anyway, it’s amazing how much time you get back when you cut out all the fluff and work with your energy. ✌️k
