Honestly the closest we can get is either the Demonsteele mod or the Doom Shinobi mod. There's also the DOOM Eternal Slayer mod but that's more of a DMC style of game.

I think I could've tried a different instrument rather than space voice starting at 1:30, but oh well can't change that now. The thing is I had to fiddle with instruments for a while with this one because they were all just grand pianos in the original midi. I used distortion and overdrive guitars along with french and english horns at the midway point

I don't know what a Doom MIDI is but the truth is you can see the work behind it, 10/10. after so long i watch the video again and i feel like this is what you hear when playing against sam on easy or normal and i can say that for sure as i finally got to play mgr:r .

youtube's finally letting me reply to comments again, so let me answer you, the original midi only used piano instruments so I looked around for a while and found lmms, better options likely exist but I used it here to change the instruments used for the tracks. I loved how the "it has to be this way" midi turned out (which was left as is after changing the soundfont), so I simply looked at instruments used by that midi and copied them over and making sure it sounds good.

you can't uncap it, you can change the FPS it runs at, but let's say I put it on 60 FPS, now it's going to run twice as fast. the best chance you've got is a good CPU and setting the game on Low
