Your quads look very good already. To my eye, adductors, hamstrings, and glutes are the areas to bring up to compete with CBum. Adductors give the illusion of thickness in front and back poses and will make the hamstrings look better, and the adductor magnus is a hip extensor. I foresee a lot of RDLs in your future!

Keep up the great work Wesley, I have been a fan since the Mr. Golden Era you won on Nick's channel! You are and will always represent the Classic Division to me!
@Devlin360i9 ай бұрын
Yep. Nick supports the notion aesthetics > mass. Classic physiques are the most aesthetic. No comparison with the Open division. They look like Golden Era Old-School bodybuilders. I always tell young guys that one of the best things you can do as a lifter interested in aesthetics / performance / strength is to study Old-School bodybuilding. Old-School bodybuilders were ingenious physique architects. They had a profound knowledge of the principles of proper nutrition, smart supplementation, exercise science, and muscle adaptability. If you combine Old-School bodybuilding wisdom with modern, evidence-based science, it's the best, safest, most effective way in achieving a strong, sexy, healthy, and aesthetic physique. "Vintage Physique" by George Kelly is a nice read on the topic.

Awesome leg day!! Also Wesley as others have said you gotta hit your front lat spread differently.. the front shots you should win against cbum but you have to make sure your showing off your physique properly.. when you hit your front lat spread your closed off.. gotta angle your body more upwards to show off your lats like cbum does it

Wesley, been following your journey for many years. Been amazing to watch you progress and even deal with the heart breaks along the way. So happy to see your hard work pay off and you being the epitome of the "Golden Era" body builder now. I have only 1 suggestion concerning CBum's leg posing versus yours. I am an artist and have studied human posing for 30 years. Always searching for the most aesthetic pose. In my humble opinion, CBum's back double bicep/leg pose position has an amazing look to the stance and stability of the pose. His Left leg is slightly ahead of his right leg as if taking a small stride. Your back double bicep/leg pose has both feet fairly close side by side which makes your stance look a bit weaker in stability and not as aesthetically pleasing as CBums. if I was going to sculpt a statue I would go for a pose a bit closer to CBum. I am not saying CBum is better than you now over all. I believe you can win against him now. You are the champion, no doubt! I only speak from and artists point of view when studying poses. Discuss with your coach. You both obviously know what is best for your posing. So proud of you Wesley!!! Best of Luck against Cbum. you can do it!! .
