Many of the members only games didn't used to be members only. Sometime in 2010-2011 they started paywalling previously free games to push more people to memberships. That was a pretty big contributing factor to its eventual shutdown in 2017.

Yeah I actually remember that. I used to play the Barrier arcade game quite a bit and then suddenly I could only play a handful of levels, it was weird... If Club Penguin (I can't abbreviate it lol) was still around I would of gotten a membership. I remember begging my parents and grand-parents for one and never got one... I was forever a F2P player.

to be fair even the devs were pissed about it. they told Disney they were willing to make original content that they'd be fine with being member locked, but Disney still went through with it.

Plus, on top of that they increased the membership price to the point my parents didn’t want to pay for it anymore. It was the main reason I quit playing the game.

I know the server he's playing, and play actively on there! Cart Surfer and Catching Waves are my literal go-tos for coin grinding, since I can easily average over 185 and 165 respectively. The trick in Cart Surfer is literally spamming Backflip (Down+Space), Aerial Spins (Space+Left/Right), and Track Running (down twice). Space it out between lives and drift through corners as well, you've net yourself easy coin.

Cart surfer is the best coins per minute of any of the games if you do the tricks properly, game got mine shafted down there in C tier
