I have a relative, her husband helped put her through a PhD program which took years. Dow the road from that, she dissolved the marriage due to "boredom " that was 15 years ago. He still keeps her pictures on shelves and counters around the house because he is alone and still loves her. She has another husband and is bored with him.

My first love was a very very good girl. Now you would guess she was different... guys, in the beginning i was treating her poorly... I was indifferent , acting often distant , showed desire for other women, I was constantly flaking and there was a point in the relationship I felt I was ready to walk away ANYTIME showing this attitude through my behaviours... guess what .. that was the moment she was wildly attached to me... as time went by I started to apologize, I treated her like a priority , I was scheduling more and more dates and time together and guess what... she became more and more distant and we broke up ... Off-topic: What about if you are the one that cancels a date? It happened to me a week and a half ago, it was going to be our third date and our plan was spending the night at my place. The issue was that I got really sick that same day so I called her for the first time to explain the situation and cancel the date. A couple of days later I got well and I contacted her to rearrange the date offering a specific day but she answered "I'll let you know tomorrow" but she didn't. At the moment I'm waiting until she reaches out to me to plan something else. 🤷
