Hilariously enough, Jeremy said that about a different actor named Christopher (Christopher Lee) on Everything Wrong With Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, even though he had a moment of Critical Research Failure in that video: he criticized the Oompa-Loompas' "Augustus Gloop" song, claiming that it seems like "a fifth grader" wrote it "trying to come up with words that rhyme with poop", even though the songs are taken from the book (albeit edited and condensed), so the supposed "fifth grader" is none other than Roald Dahl himself. Not surprisingly, there's A LOT of Critical Research Failure in their videos, and not just in their E.W.W. videos... so much so that the director of Kong: Skull Island called Jeremy out for his E.W.W. video of that movie on Twitter, though the director came off as racist and sexist.

18:49 .....fun fact. This particular filming convention, where the camera is placed so it focuses on a subject in the background standing between the legs of someone in the foreground is classically used to visually describe a position of power in film. The person with the legs is almost always in that position over the person between them in the background. It can usually mean one of two things; that the subjects involved are either going to fight and the person in the foreground has an advantage or some sort of high ground, or the second meaning...they're gonna have sex and the person in the foreground is the dominant element in play over the potentially submissive element in the background. Knowing all of this makes this scene ten times more uncomfortable. 😐

I love how you can actively tell the levels of care that the actors have. Chazz Palemteri, Cloris Leachman, and Christopher Lloyd are just here for a paycheck. Toni Braxton is at least trying to have some fun with the character. And Carey Elwes gives so little fucks that it's wrapped around and he's giving the most unnecessarily creepy performance possible.
