Amazing content, as always. You even mentioned the followup. However i might add, especially for the early/mid game after you got your sword and some spells, you could grab the godslayer seal and get some blackflame incantations, both found incredibly early in stormveil. (Due to it being INT/FAI hybrid you ll be able to use them) While doing that, golden vow and flame, grant me strength may also be worth it. Also glintblade phalanx isn t really at a good spot i believe (as if it would even matter when considering the rest of the excellent kit), but personally i always go for greatblade phalanx with the insane stagger potential. That may also be usefull here as you ll pass it when following the route to caria manor that you described early. Idk if going for Terra Magicus spell applies on Sword of N&F but that s also free dmg for your other spells.(especially with my additions). All of that comes down to personal preference, but maybe this helps someone (It kinda helped me A LOT). Great Video, keep it up!! Where are ur 100k?? actually where are your 1M ?

at 4:33 you can go behind the structure you leave at start after getting torrent and use the spirit spring to get to bottom very easily (theres a lower landing just below a few birds you can jump from to activate the spring no fall damage buff) to get the golden pickle fowl foot as well then use to jump back up useing the 2 springs to get away from skeletons so you can fast travel if its easyer for yas its definitly faster to get started anyway just thought id offer that as an option to people

For an alternative to the gold pickled fowl foot, you can get the night's calvary to jump of the cliff near lenne's rise for 42,000 runes then kill greyoll, and if you want to keep farming greyoll you can do the glutch to keep greyoll alive but get the runes, its 50,000 everytime

I don't think I agree with all those Carian sorceries when you already have SoNaF for awesome close-up damage. Add Great Glintstone Shard, Night Comet, and Loretta's Greatbow for some sniping options instead. Also get the regen spell from Turtle Pope for some great low-resource healing, and Flame Cleanse Me for dealing with poison and rot, along with all the elemental resistance buffs- if you're putting 25 into Faith you may as well get some good utility from it!

I’d say black flame spells would fit the theme of the build better but then you’re having to switch between staff and seal and probably is a bit fiddly. I imagine the death ritual spear or death poker could be good mid/late game weapon alternatives which are more thematic.

I'm on my second playthrough right now and went with a strength build. My dude has like 50 strength and still 10 vigor lol... I've noticed that fights are easier if you can inflict more damage, as opposed to doing less damage and being able to survive longer. My first playthrough was a blood katana build and getting close to end game I just found that it didn't do enough damage to some of the harder bosses. Meanwhile, in my strength build, I'm mowing through bosses with the Greatsword (as long as I can not get hit lol). If I have a next playthrough, it will be with magic. I literally have never used any magic whatsoever other than the Scarlot Rot dragon head thing, and the Flame Give me Strength. I feel like if I started against as a mage, it would be a completely different game because I know nothing about that part of the game. I think it's pretty cool that you can play the same game in so many different ways. I just have to wait long enough to forget most of it before I play again. I'm getting close to 40, so that's easy. Takes maybe a year and almost all my memories are gone lol

This inspired me to a "Deathbringer" build: Uses everything Death Birds and Death Rite Birds drop (including Branchsword talismans!), additional Death Sorceries plus Night Sorceries and Golden Order Incantations. Additional weapons: Scythes (with Sacred AOW), Club (with Magic or Sacred AOW), any spear (with Magic AOW) before Death Ritual Spear, Rosus' Axe, Helphen's Steeple. Also uses Magic and Holy consumables (INT or FTH scaling).

Im 5 Int short on casting it but love the build so far. Only thing I've stuggled with is getting the somber stone 6. The boss and cave is to hard for my char so far.

Do you have a video on how to defeat the Death Rite Bird in Lurnia? The rock spell in the new patch can't reach that far anymore and if you get close, as soon as you raise your arm to cast, he unleashes a 2 hit kill and you can't move. We need a "get OP" to beat OP bosses to "get OP" guide.

i recommend adding a step for getting a beast repelling torch, as its on the way anyway from the map thats between faroth and the vendor. and also picking up arrows and a longbow to prep for rune farm im mohg palace granted liurnia is part of the early game and can easily get to it bypassing stormveil altogether getting a sword key for the portal to starter zone and then being able to dip ur cloth in the maiden at the church. unless this isnt exactly early early? but i still do it as part of the prep.since eventually we will kill godrick for varre to even move

Really enjoyed this build. I’m usually spending the entire game chasing a certain stat so I can equip a certain weapon and by the time I get my build together the game is over. This is the first I felt more freedom to just explore new areas and enjoy it a bit more. 👍🏼 only thing is the cast time on the weapon skill is pretty slow. I needed more poise and used the same mask but with radaan armor and made it more of a death knight. Super cool.

Fallingstar Beast as gravity-type enemy is weak to Gravity. You can use the Gravity Stone Fans and Gravity Stone Chunks (consume FP with use) you get from the chest you're teleported to from Limgrave. You can farm more of these from the Gravity Priest's guards near the Beside the Crater-Pocked Glade on Weeping Peninsula. Faster than casting Rock Sling.

At 24 int and faith, I took on the pumpkin head miniboss. Definitely did not one shot him. It took 3, while my spirit wolves kept him fully engaged. The sword was upgraded to 6, fwiw. Still not bad. I did the minor erd tree min-boss and that only took 2 shots with the flamethrower. Fun times. The downside of this weapon is that you need to up your faith to increase fire damage, while I'd rather be putting points into intelligence in order to cast stronger sorcery spells. Ah decisions.

I’d say the confessor is the best starter class in this option. Has the 12 str and dex for night and flame immediately, some faith along with a heal spell, a straight sword and a 100% physical shield to start. And let’s not forget the confessor swag hood.

You could get the sword to +9 fairly easily. Kill Alberech or whatever in the Roundtable Hold to get the Taunter's Tongue and go to the teleporter chest in the tower all the way in south of the Weeping Peninsula. Use a Furlcalling Finger Remedy and the Taunter's Tongue until an invader rides the elevator up to you. At the bottom of the elevator, run out the door and to the right to pick up the Somber 6 and work your way outside and up the tree root and past the gargoyle. Jump off the West Rampart to the lever surrounded by 3 Toot Toots and then jump down again, dodge the lightning strikes and go to the Balcony Avenue Site of Grace. From there run down the stairs an past the knight with a 2h sword and jump over the railing on the left and work your way down to the sewers. Make your way down the pipes and dodge the imps and one of the bodies has a Somber 7 stone. The 8 and 9 are both near the Dragonbarrow West Site of Grace. The 8 drops from an exploding Scarab in front of the Divine Tower of Caelid, the 9 is down the ramp nearby on a body sitting among a ring of chairs.

Back at the Dragon is a 7. It is on top of a skull I believe. Then you go by the divine tower of Caelid and on the out side is another 8 or 9 I think.
