Ray really was based on himself. It's why I'm so glad this role is so beloved. When he says weird stuff about aliens in his private life, we all just know, "That's Dan for ya". Heck, if you haven't seen it yet, check out the show he hosted called Psi Factor (Canadian X-files)

@@AllanTidgwell Unfortunately, I've never found Aykroyd funny, and I'm apparently not alone in that as he's never carried a successful movie on his own. In his hits he's always played second banana to a Murray or Belushi; people don't flock to the cinema to see "Dan Aykroyd movies." For further proof, it's worth noting that Aykroyd was unable to revive GHOSTBUSTERS until Murray signed on for token appearances in both reboots. GHOSTBUSTERS may be Aykroyd's creation, but Bill Murray is the reason people remember it.

Just watched "Ghotsbusters After Life" AGAIN earlier on Netflix. Scene that made me teary eyed was when Egon's ghost was helping his granddaughter Phoebe and the scene which is followed by the dedication "For Harold". Rest in peace Harold Ramis.

I watched Ghostbusters every single day after school for like 5 years from like 2nd grade on... it's one of ... if not my favorite movie of all time... I'm 43 now and will always love it. I'm excited about the new movie coming out where they head back to new York. IT wouldn't have been a Ghostbuster movie without the originals in there. Great job boys!
