In season 4 of TVD, Kol warned everyone not to wake Silas. No one listened. Silas : kills Jeremy, leads to Bonnie’s death traps Stefan underwater for months, kills Bonnie’s dad… Kol a 1000 years ago votes to kill Lucian. They don’t kill him. Lucian : turns into a superior version of the originals with venom that can actually kill them. Kol tells Elijah to Detroit the last remnant of the white oak. Elijah gives it to Freya. The last remnant of the white oak : turns into a serum that can kill an original. When are these people going to learn to LISTEN TO THAT MAN ??

There are 3 main take aways from this episode: 1. When your friends are revealed to be enemies who were plotting your downfall, kill them immediately. 2. When you defeat your enemies, don't punish them by sealing them away or torturing them. Kill immediately and watch them burn the bodies to ash so that they can't come back. 3. When the Wildest sibling, the one who has the most self-interest and has as much knowledge of magic as Freya, gives you advice, you freaking take it. In other words, Kol was right again!

@@raulantunez4228 Exactly. I love the mystery and drama of this season, but the characters' repeated of plot-induced stupidity frustrate me to no end. Lucien went after Cami, but Klaus did nothing. Lucien was targeting the wolves but Klaus and Elijah did nothing. Lucien was found to be working with Aurora and Tristen, but disclosed this after he got caught, yet the Mikaelsons did nothing. Lucien teamed up with Aurora, allowing for Aya to enact the plan to break the sireline and they STILL let him live. The only reason Lucien joined them was because she supposedly felt betrayed. Then they ignored Kol and allows Lucien to talk them into giving the white oak to Freya, despite literally having betrayed them again in that same freaking day! Even Elijah was about to let that b*tch Aya live out of some sort of sentimental guilt, thank God Hayley stepped in. Aurora kidnapped Rebekah, dropped her body into the ocean, and then emotionally blackmailed Klaus. As soon as the Mikaelson's verified Rebekah's location and Aurora's alliance with he trio, she should been killed. Instead, they let her kidnap/kill Cami, steal the white oak, team up with Aya, which led to Klaus being de-sired. And then the idiot bricked her up. And what's worse, Klaus was shocked that Cami wasn't okay with Aurora being tortured for the rest of her immortal life instead of just outright killing her. Ughhh so frustrating.

This episode is one of my favorites of this season. Finn and Elijah returning to Mystic Falls, Klaus and Hayley continuing to bond and work together, Finn’s death which actually made me sad, shockingly enough. He had finally reconnected with his family in a meaningful way, and then he had to die. I like that even Kol shed a tear. It was handled beautifully. Vincent was so smart leaving that video for Davina to tell her what was going on. I loved his and Davina’s conversation at the end about destroying the ancestors, especially after finding out they put a curse on Kol. Lucien turning into a super original was so badass. He’s a great villain! The end scene where they find out about Aurora being gone, and the music paired with it, always gives me chills.

Can I just say that I love the way Vincent practices magic. It’s so cool and unique compared to every other witch on both shows. Also, how do the ancestors have any power outside New Orleans? I thought they could only operate within the city cause that’s where their bodies were consecrated? Did I miss something?

That’s so true u know I think maybe cus he is the reagent of the New Orleans witches not just the quarter so they practice all different kinds of magic not just ancestral so they r using some other kind of magic to Chanel or possess him also because he’s a reagent he has a direct link to the ancestors whereas other witches who practice ancestral magic would have to Chanel their ancestors magic from the soil where they lay which is why they can’t leave but if u have a direct link u wouldn’t have that’s how I understand it at least. The real question is tho how where the ancestors able to help lucien be unaffected last time I checked he ain’t a regent or witch so what ancestor does he have a link to 😂

This is a sad episode, specially for Finn... In this episode we find out what the dagger and the 900 years actually did to him and the extend of what the rest of the Mikaelsons put him thru, that's why it is really understandable in retrospective why he woke up mad like he said, he has every reason to; his points are valid AF, he was the least aggressive vampire among them, the one with the least amount of innocent blood on his hands, as far as we know he sired 1 person only (Sage) so he wasn't propagating a predatorial species like the rest of them and they decided to keep him daggered simply because he wasn't cool with being a monster... And that excuse that "He was a danger to the family" is also a pretty weak one, like he said: Kol and Klaus were killing everything that moved, calling Mikael's attention to wherever they went, we saw it time and time again in the flashbacks and how Elijah always had to be the one to keep them in check and scold them, but somehow Finn was a danger to the family?

@@akitohigurashino3833 ​ He didn't really showed suicidal tendencies before he got daggered, he hated what he was for sure but with what little we saw and know of him in that first century after being turned he made no move to have himself killed or more importantly he made no move or had any intentions of getting his family killed... In fact he meet Sage at that point and was in love with her, so in love that against his own judgement he turned her so he could spend an eternity with her, that goes against any suicidal ideas... The only thing he desired to do and he was vocal about it was to split up and for each of them to go their separate ways, he never made a move to call the attention of Mikael, we know that he hated him as well an considered him an even bigger monster and he was very critical of Kol and Klaus behavior and how their indiscriminate killing would attract Mikael's attention. If the argument is that he would go a seek out Mikael in order to get himself killed then, first of all: he didn't show any desires of getting his family killed, he hated what they were but he showed concern and love for his siblings, traveling with them, sticking to the rules to not attract Mikael, etc.... And second: If he had the idea to go himself and try to get himself killed by Mikael (which I see as unlikely given that he showed no desire to die, specially after meeting Sage), that would've actually made the rest of the family be in considerably less danger; If Finn would've succeeded in getting Mikael to use the white oak stake on him then his ONLY stake would've burned up with Finn and that would leave Mikael without a weapon to torment the rest of the siblings... So even if the rest of the Mikaelsons considered the idea that Finn would've been willing to die by the hands of Mikael, that still doesn't work as an excuse or reason to do what they did to him... They created the Finn that we know in the present that is so hell bent on not only not living as a vampire for eternity but also hell bent on taking down the entire family
