Out of context ikr but klaus's life has never been stable. Poor klaus always busy either running some dangerous errands or fighting off enemies and plotting their fall. His life never saw stable relationships. His quest for love remained the same .....here just 2 episodes back he confessed that he does loves cami...if would have given a chance he would have loved and protected her till his last breath but here he is 2 episodes later, trying to get hold of the love of his life turned into an evil maniac. Aarggh! I feel so bad for him like seriously...the closer he approaches love the farther life pushes him away from love and towards war. 🥺

Nice to see him taking charge again. 20:40 I actually like the idea of the sirelines breaking just because otherwise it feels like the stakes (ha!) are never that high since you know other characters (like on TVD) didn’t/don’t die. It feels like the Oeiginals are not in danger of death because other characters would die too.

About the sire line retconning you were talking about, I understand and I was thinking the same, but I've been thinking about it and in theory the whole concept of the dying of the sire line with an original takes away a bit of suspense, since it makes it even more unlikely (besides the show being called the originals and them being the main characters) that one of them will die, especially Klaus since we know charactets that would die with him.

@@Web497 Why are you so rude... they just gave their idea of the story and it wasn't even wrong also you didn't even explain anything that was spoiled anyways so it honestly wasn't worth typing all of that mess...We all thought the same at least one point when watching the show and obviously with a show named the originals and with a show named vampire diaries that someone among the main chat will pass away either some point of the show. He never said when though. You honestly don't need to watch Vampire Diaries to watch the Originals unless you just really pressured into it. You can watch up to like 5 seasons of TVD and just go to the Originals cause the rest of TVD is crap but The Originals practically explain everything later on and tie up loose ends. There is literally no necessary lore because it will be reminded later on in The Originals.

Originals are better because the plot actually works together. Admittedly Cami was a bad vampire and Elijah's hate for Marcel was unnecessary and Klaus being super paranoid half the time got annoying but at least I still wanted to watch the show instead of forcing myself with TVD. Cami was a little irritating not giving Klaus the white oak, but at the same time her request for getting her dark objects back is a pretty reasonable one. I’m not sure why Klaus was resisting so hard in giving them back to her. She literally just wanted back what was hers to protect her self. I would think getting the white oak back was more important than trying to prove a point. I really loved that reveal at the end that Elijah and Marcel were working together. I like seeing them team up.

If you want to go by whose Dark Objects they are then they never belonged to Cami. Kol and the New Orleans witches have more rights to the dark objects than Cami every really did. Just because the human faction kept them for a few decades doesn’t constitute ownership, at best her family was granted temporary permission to them. Her behavior was completely selfish and unrealistic, having the objects didn’t give her any advantage it just purely gave her a target on her back. The objects can be used by anyone on anyone, Cami’s fixation on getting back “what was her’s” was not reasonable just because her family line was granted with the burden of “keeping” them. The Dark Objects were burden to her family; they only ever brought her family despair and death, her fixation on the thought that they gave her an advantage was flawed logic at best. Her fixation on trying manipulate Klaus and get the upper hand was to punish him for her death, not to gain any form of safety. Klaus resisted giving Cami what she wanted because he knew no good would come of her machinations.

@@ilanakarp i don't know where the story line came from. it's like the creators just wanted to create conflict which i don't see a reason for, since we already have a shitload of characters, plot twists and story lines this season. the whole cami is a vampire story line is useless. i think they just wanted a story line for klaus and cami, because with hayley mourning/avenging jackson, davina bringing back kol, freya doing whatever freya does and marcel and elijah dealing with the strix, these two didn't have much to do. but it's still a shit story line and they could have come up with something better, more logical and engaging (and less irritating to the viewer too). it's just made me dislike them as characters (not dislike dislike them, just like them a little less) and made me bored, which is strange because this season is packed with action and being bored shouldn't be an option

@@baileym8303 the Human Faction was given the dark objects to protect not to use. In fact the possession of the objects ended up killing the protectors never actually protecting them. Cami’s uncle and brother were both hexed by dark objects. Her need to get them back never really made any logical sense. O’Connell’s only ever died or were hexed to death because of the objects they never served to protect anyone.
