Kol is fantastic this episode. His death was so heartbreaking. The moments he had with Davina and seeing his family finally being there for him was wonderful. I loved that Rebekah promised to bring him back. Hayley’s wedding was so beautiful. I actually really like her and Jackson together.

@Lilfranklll Sure! My explanation is kinda long and has spoilers in it: I feel like Hayley is really at home with Jackson and the wolves. They are the family she always wanted. Jackson has always made it quite clear how much he loves her. He’s never pushed her, always respected her and never stopped loving her, all the while knowing she had feelings for Elijah. He’d always been fully committed to her and for the most part, done his best to tolerate and work with the Mikaelsons for Hope’s sake. He loved Hope, and was a great parental figure to her, and I think Hayley was happy with him. Here are the issues I have with Haylijah’s relationship. Firstly, I think Hayley has rose colored glasses on when it comes to him. She has no trouble telling Klaus when he’s done something wrong or she doesn’t agree with him, which I love (it’s actually one of the reasons why I ship her with Klaus as well) but she has this view that Elijah can do no wrong. Not that she’s never been irritated at him before, but when he does anything as terrible as Klaus, she lets it slide. The biggest example of this is when Elijah and Freya leave Davina to the ancestors, and after Elijah kills Marcel at the end of season 3. She doesn’t react to either of those things, even though Davina and Marcel are both her friends, and she goes as far as to get mad at Klaus for being mad at Elijah for murdering Marcel. That was the most out of character I think I’ve ever seen her act, and I hated it. Luckily in season 4, when she’s in Elijah’s mind, she has a wake up call that he’s done a lot of terrible things in his life and it freaks her out. In her mind she never imagined that he could do anything as bad as Klaus, and I’m happy that she snapped out of that frame of mind. The next two reasons are purely personal. I just never saw the romantic chemistry between Hayley and Elijah. It was also a little too weird and complicated of a situation for me, the fact that Hayley and Klaus had a kid together, and she has a thing for his brother. Don’t get me wrong, I think the actors were really good at making me believe that they were in love, and they had enough normal chemistry for me to actually like seeing them interact, that I tolerated them as a couple. I would’ve much rather had them have a platonic relationship from the beginning though, and had Hayley and Klaus get together after Jackson and Camille died, since I think Klayley had fantastic romantic chemistry.

This episode is just another reason why I feel like Davina and Cami were made to become Mikaelsons-Cami through Klaus, and Davina through Kol. They just fit in so well with the Mikaelson family with heartwarming interactions with Hayley, Marcel, Kol, and even freaking Klaus. That's why I hate it when the writers pointlessly make Davina an antagonist.

Idk if it was cause tvd did him extra wrong, or he was really, REALLY misunderstood by his siblings, I teared up lol. Klaus does fucked up shit for a millenium and still gets redeemed, and finn wakes up after 900 years, tries to do one thing the way he wants to, and gets killed wtf i cant believe i'm defending finn mikaelson

This episode is so heartbreaking but I love it so much. I feel for Elijah as well because he always sacrifices his own happiness in favor of others and here is where it bites him in the ass and yet he still is very graceful about the whole situation. Who knew when I would be a wreck over Kol dying. Him and Davina dancing in the cemetery while crying had me so emotional. I love that he died surrounded by his family and Davina knowing he was loved and also how Davina and the Mikaelsons put away their quarrels for that one moment to mourn someone they all love and just existed together

Teenagers aren't, and guys in their early twenties aren't that often, or at least hard to find. Boys/men have to bulk up hard to achieve this muscles. Klaus may be scared and willing to kill Jackson at first...But i love how Cami changes his mind without knowing, simply by giving her advice on how to have a happy baby and Hopes happininess and Safety is Klaus's number ONE priority. Also i dont think he was playing any games with Elijah before. Klaus was simply reading his brother and telling him straight. Klaus inviting Jackson to live with them was his change of heart and him again growing for his precious littlest wolf.

I think when Hayley said to Elijah that he can't be the guy who says what he feels, she meant she understands that Elijah is honorable and lives by the code "family above all" and him giving into his feelings for Hayley would've disrupted that code. And the ironic part is that Hayley loves him for exactly that. But if he were to say it in that moment, she knew she would never be able to marry Jackson and then the family wouldn't be protected. So now she has to say "family above all", even above what she truly wants.

Great episode. Aiden and Josh are THE cutest couple, them together at the wedding is sweet af. Jackson is a really good guy, he clearly cares about Haley and Hope just as much as his pack. Klaus is so quick to lash out and attack when he feels abandoned or weak. Cami can always get through to him. Seeing Kol get to be so fully embraced by his family is beautiful, actor does a great job. As does Davina's, you can see how heartbroken she is.

Josh and Aiden are my favorite ship in season 2, they're really precious and I love that you appreciate their relationship.
