Man. I’m 41 years old and started with the old school “surgical steel” junker county fair butterfly knives back in the early 90’s and on. Was always fascinated as a kid and fell away from it. About 15 years ago when the Bemchmade 51 released. I tried getting back into the hobby with the 51 and 62 and the Bradley Kimura when Kershaw made them. The Benchmades were way too expensive for what you got out of them I felt. The Bradley was excellent build and smooth flipping just heavy stainless and no texture… so it sat in my collection since. Last week I found the Bradley and started playing with it. Decided to look up what’s new in the hobby and I’m absolutely astonished at what’s come out in the recent years. It’s no longer junk that falls apart in 2 days or drop a car payment on BRS to get something decent. I’ve been watching a TON of your videos, Wills, Ghost, and others and in the past 3 days I’ve ordered the Cheese, Teflon Vulp, Vulp Pro, Canyon, Orion, and one of the newer Bradley’s with G10 scales(which I’m kinda regretting but the nostalgia may be worth it). Hoping to follow some tutorials and see if I still have some dexterity to enjoy flipping. The Bradley is fun to flip but it’s so heavy and slick that anything beyond basic thumb rolls and fans are risky. I’ve never actually flipped a trainer so progress was slow because of the danger. lol. Thanks for all your content!

got my orion and i gotta say its one of the best value balisongs ive bought. The quality of flipping is so good and personally I love the balance the trainer has. i actually haven't tried the pin before, do you like it significantly more?

Can you please compare Orion 1.5v vs The Vulp Teflon please? 🙏🏼 I really like them both but i can only afford one. I already have the nabalis canyon but it's still very heavy for me. Making it unusable for me.

This is so funny bc I was looking everywhere for a live blade vs trainer comparison and other video or two said trainer is better but you saying that live blade is so much better with the zippy makes me feel very happy with my choice since i got the false edge blue as well and my zippy spaces are coming soon too Its like perfect timing

Hey! Little question for Ethan and any commenters who know the answer: I wanted to buy a Zenith but I realized the shipping is $50 where I live. No other brand has that expensive shipping where I live. That makes this budget knife more expensive than I like. So I either want to buy the Spooky Season Mako (150) for a little bit extra or the Cheese (80). The "problem" is that I fear the Cheese will be too similiar to the Vulp I already have and thus be kind of a "waste of money". I have the stacks for the Mako and want a limited-edition-ish bali. I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

What type of vulp do you have. If you have the regular vulp and not the Teflon vulp then I hear the cheese us a lot better than the vulp. However if you really have that itch for a limited time bali go for the mako. Just keep in mind that the mako is on washers and the cheese is on bushings so the cheese will overall sound better and have tighter tolerances. @@SkullFlipper15 Sorry for not answering, I was away from my PC for two weeks. I have a regular Vulp Bottle Opener. Over the course of the two weeks I've made the decision to buy the Mako. Will actually made a video showcasing how to keep washer Balis tight using Teflon Tape. His EXAMPLE was even a Mako V4.5 so I'm pretty sure the tolerances won't be a problem. Thanks for the help!
