I only discovered The Outfield today, 2nd April 24. I am so sad that they are no longer making songs together since the death of Tony Lewis. So, so sad! I love his voice so much, he was exceptionally good. I really love this particular song, it's so melodic and soothing to sing along to. What a loss to the music world. RIP Tony.

+fernando quiñones you mistake great bands and singers nowadays for audio tune and not a lot of people love metal as it has become growling and screaming into a mic. Also rap is trash, sure N.W.A and older groups are talented cause it rhymes and flows but nowadays it doesn't even rhyme and sounds terrible using 5-10 to put a song together.

I have been a huge fan of the Outfield for many years. I was so very fortunate to see them perform live twice. The Outfield had a number of hits, but i feel that they never quite got the attention and respect that they deserved. This song was certainly not their biggest hit, but it is the one Outfield song that resonates the most with me. It was popular in the early 90's, just as my wife and I were going through a painful split. I listened to this song over and over during that period, because it summed up my feelings about our relationship. And as hard as we tried, things just didn't work out for us. We have both moved on and had wonderful lives, but this song always takes me back to that time whenever I hear it. An achingly beautiful song with very personal memories for me.

I've only truly loved one woman on my life's journey on this little blue ball planet. This song reminds me of her in so many ways. We have broken up four times, and she NEVER told me why. Moreover, it hurts knowing that I will love her until the day my heart no longer beats, but I can never trust her with my heart again. It sucks the big one, big time, as I will be alone for the rest of my days. This song makes me love her even more though.

I'm so sorry :( I also loved a woman, more than I love any other women in my life. We were to be married, I trusted her with all my heart, and she cheats on me and leaves me for another man, after saying that we are meant to be together forever. I can't forgive her for that, but I can forgive her for showing me that true love can exist in this world, and I was able to experience even for just a short time, and no matter what she does with the rest of her life, I will love her for the rest of mine....
