I LOVED this song when it came out as the 80s were coming to an end.... it started to chart then just disappeared from airplay. I didn't think about it for YEARS except to think that "Your Love" was overplayed and wishing that the radio stations would play some of the other Outfield songs. I'd honestly forgotten the song's name (never had bought an album) and finally decided to search their discography to find what I'd mentally misplaced. So gratified to hear it again. And it sounds as good as ever. No, there will never be a decade like the 80s again. Some folks went on to like 90s and grunge and such. Me, not so much. I became an adult in the 80s and the music of the time brings back the memories like it hasn't been over a third of a century 😮

This takes me back to the days I lost everything and starting over again. Try some CRAWLER, FRANK MARINO & MAHOGANY RUSH. 70 - 80s Enjoy. KZbin has it here.

You're not crazy. You agree with me that the Eighties had the most diverse music in the history of modern popular music. I was born in the right time to enjoy this music scene in real time.

This song is forever linked to a summer of temporary duty at Malcolm Grow Med Center at Andrews AFB. I attended college and med school in the 80s and watched thousands of music videos. Most were crap. This video is art and befits the song.

This is their best. I have it on my IPod and listen to it when I work out. It gives me lots of energy.
